The problem with WYP is you cannot openly seek sex and I assume that includes any kind of sexual kink so I have to get the date then ask them.

You are indeed missing something.
Sugaring these days is quite different from what you may have heard about in the past. These days it's more common to have a pay per meet kind of arrangement where you agree on an amount and then you meet up, then you pay for the food/drinks and outside of that you don't really have to pay for anything. It's kind of similar to escorting but with a key difference being in actually texting and communicating to maintain that relationship, and also that there isn't really any fixed time limit and pay by the hour rates. That's the score right now and most girls are aware of it, which is why no one really wants to meet up just for a chat/drink and pay for it, especially because it's kind of the norm in this scene to meet up first in a social setting without payments.

The reason being, all this is just a lot more realistic for girls to get than the typical sugar daddy you may have heard about in the past i.e. the one who pays monthly allowances and lavishes the girl with gifts etc.
