Just wondering what has been peoples longest time without a punt and why ? - Only asking because its been ages since I last had one

Had a couple when younger, didn't go well, then must have gone at least 5 or 6 years before starting regularly. That gap was due to lack of funds and being faithful to girlfriends.

Since I started punting as a hobby. Like, not a one off, but something I do regularly, I've not gone more than 2-3 months without, with the only gaps caused by lack of funds, never ever lack of desire.

Almost 2 years - the last 2. Started when I fell and broke a hip - its quite some time before you can shag after a broken hip; then, just as I was starting to look around again health went to pot - one damned thing after another, but I still have hopes.

Six years between the first and second time! The first time was a big disappointment. I felt no need to arrange a second visit after that. However, once I entered my thirties, I had a long spell of not getting laid. Repressed sexual desire built to a point where I needed an outlet. I couldn't have hoped for a better one, with my second visit. After that, there was no turning back and I've continued ever since.

Lots in my thirties and forties then a 13 year gap. Started again in 2015, but probably only 6 or seven times a year now. Nothing since the end of August but a meeting booked in 2 weeks time .

Probably about a year without punting in 2006/7 straight after my first punt when I became guilt ridden. Tried to ween myself off it due to money and when hobby started to be the 'tail that wags the dog'. Nowadays try too limit myself to a few a year, but not for want of doing more.

I went 1 year without sex back in 2007. Had chosen to be celibate and it wasn't easy, in the beginning, I used to wake up feeling like there was nothing to look forward to in life but as the weeks went by it got easier. After the year, I gave in and started punting again. Being celibate did come with its challenges but there were some enlightening moments.

Probably around 15 years. Dabbled a bit for a while due to boredom and then gave up when life got in the way and funds were a bit scarce. Did do a bit of digging with varied success and the same playing on POF, etc. Now doing fbsm rather than FS punting but keep contemplating dipping back into full punts but not sure I want the hassle.

About 3 or 4 years now! Where I live is a punting desert so to have a punt involves a lot of travelling. Funds have also been tight this past few years which makes it difficult to justify all the cost ie, travel fares, hotel and punt!

Prices went above what I was comfortable paying. Better things to spend the money on.
Pretty sure i`ll dip my toe in again at some point, I started a shortlist a few months ago, but not feeling it at the moment as Ive been suffering from depression. Its the best thing in the world for saving money because I don't feel like doing much tbh, just taking it day to day is hard enough.

Longest was 6 months.

That was purely because I was saving for other things and paying off remaining debts.

Now I move £X amount into a savings account (punting fund) when I get paid.

Was 4 years between my first disastrous punt and when I picked up a bar girl one night while I was staying in Koh Samui. Was a further 2 years until I punted in a couple of Bangkok soapies on my next Thailand trip. Only a few months after returning from that I was punting regularly in the UK.

I did almost exactly the same, didn't think it would be possible to last out but it got easier. remarkable how much money it saves and how relaxed you become not having to look over your shoulder all the time, worrying about where you are and if anyone's spotted you, not having to run security on your phone and internet use. Of course after the year was up I was back out there in a frenzy.

I think my period between birth and having a first punt was around 55 years - this on the basis that a punt = a paid-for shag.
I began paid-for shagging in 2002. my last paid-for shag was but a month or so ago but I've been out of the country for the best part of three weeks just now.

I hope this information is of use to fellow punters.

I will punt again at some point, but it’s hard to find the right SP, price seem stupid.

I first punted in 2013 I think, and it was a poor experience. Couldn't keep it up and couldn't cum. I tried again one year later, same poor experience, though I did cum after almost two hours. In 2015 I tried yet again, and didn't even bother trying to fuck the girl as she was a blobby overweight hag. Gave up on trying.

Then in October 2018 I finally had a great punt and now I haven't gone more than a couple months between punts at most, usually a couple weeks.

And since 2002 my longest break was one 3-month period. Otherwise it's been about once every 2 to 3 weeks. The last was on 18 Feb and the next is on Tuesday!

There's practically no resource here for punters, so I like to check out UKP from time to time to see how things are going up north.

3 months for me. The longest barren spell since I began in late-2004.

And, to be honest, I'm not really missing it. The extra cash in my wallet's reminding me that I've other ambitions. E.g. there's still a lot of destinations to tick off the 'Holidays bucket list'.

And I can always check the Punting Abroad Board before I visit any of them.
