Can I please ask you to confirm that you are 100% sure it was me that was difficult to mantain a conversation with?
Only asking as I'm quite surprised- my English is not, and will never be, perfect, but is fluent. My accent can be a little issue sometimes when it kicks in, but if there was a real language barrier, we must have been either trying to speak Mandarin, or try to talk about something really advanced, e.g. brain surgery or rocket science.
