I must have spent 3 weeks every year in hotels for the last 30 years on holiday and never been challenged not sure apart from the magic door why it would be any different when punting, don't sweat it.

In my student days I worked as a hotel porter (concierge desk) during the holidays. One night got a call from a guest staying at the hotel if I knew of any good escorts to send up to his room. I was very naive and asked one of the old porters who told me I should just tell the guy to check the local newspaper classified section. Having worked hotels I know there are always lots of folks coming and going, just look confident, pretend to be on the phone even. I also check out google maps as often the hotel interiors are  on street view so you know exactly where the lifts are and don't wander around aimlessly drawing attention to yourselves, You could be meeting a friend there legit or just going into the hotel for a drink. So just look like you belong there and don't be shifty...like going through customs with dark glasses!

You need to turn this on its head. You are staying in a hotel with your young family and the staff are nowhere to be seen, allowing strange men to walk the corridors knocking on doors?

We also tend to forget that the majority of guests occupying a hotel at any given time, will have a very dim view of prostitution going on under the same roof. The degree to which hotel staff will seek to enforce that majority view will vary widely and is more likely to be an individual(s) initiative rather than a company policy.

As a result I think most SPs who use hotels a lot will experience being asked to leave one at some point, but it won't be a common occurrence.

Offline samsmith_1231

I’ve seen escorts in hotels over 50 times never been challenged, this particular time there was no need to walk pass reception because the lifts were to the right of me as soon as I entered.

Once I got to the floor number given to me I noticed there were cleaners in the same hotel corridor. I therefore made sure I went the correct way, then what seemed to be a manager talking to a cleaner on the floor asked if I’m ok; I said ‘yes all fine’ smiled and attempted to walk on.

A few steps later I find the door number but just before I’m about to knock, the manager then asks ‘which room number are you looking for’ I rely rather suprised ‘what?’ . The manager looking lady then proceeds to raise her voice and asks ‘which room’ rather loudly, as I take a second to think of the right response, as I knew my default of where the bar wasn’t going to work. The escort I came to visit must have over heard and opens the door behind her before I could reply. The cleaner and manager look confused, I look back at them then escape through the open door.

I was going to reply thanks its ok I know where I’m going but I don’t think she would have left me alone.

So my question is what would you do if your asked which room in a challenging tone by hotel staff on the floor of the escort? Would you just walk from situation and leave or try to bullshit and how?

A few years back, staying overnight at Glasgow Airport, at one of the airport hotels, going down to dinner, I see an escort that I had previously booked.  Now she could just be like me, she has a flight in the morning, or seeing punters, never go to find out

Have also seen an escort advertising she is staying at london airport hotel, for 3 nights, and it just happened, I was flying from that airport, early in the morning

Even checking out AW, and searching Airports, brings up a few escort, some staying in a airport, and with airports there a high volume of holiday makers going through, some with kids

With the transitory nature of the guests, I imagine the management at airport hotels are more relaxed about hookers in their rooms.

Not challenged as such by hotel staff - However after the meet had finished & I was back in my car I realised I hadn't paid for parking.

My fault, my mind was elsewhere pre-shag.

I'm not into just driving off & then getting pestered by a private parking firm - The place was CCTV'd up anyway.

I saw I had to pay in the hotel & made my way to reception, I expained I needed to pay any parking charges to the receptionist (who was a young guy) there was also a young girl staff member next to him.

He asked had I been staying at the hotel as a guest & I said "No I've been here about an hour, what do I owe you ?"

The guy smirked & said "It's fine, don't worry about it" - The young girl looked at me with complete disgust & contempt .................  :sarcastic:

Funny how different genders react - I had made it obvious what I was there for it seems - No fucks given by me, I just left.

I have had a couple of punts in hotels since, I now don't use the hotel parking facilities, I do some research before-hand & park nearby.

Reduce your interaction with hotel staff as much as possible & act naturally - I haven't had any issues since.

i did something similar once

took my carpark ticket to reception
girl on desk said no need to pay as you been here less than 2 hours

wizzed off

two weeks later got a ticket in the post from the company running the car park fines using cctv

My fear of ever using a hotel has been reinforced  :scare:
+1 Reading this Thread has simply reaffirmed my own Rule to book only fairly Local Independent SP's, working from their own homes or rented working premises. An enjoyable Punt for me has to be total pleasure and relaxation, devoid of stress from finding the Location and available Parking and being discovered or outed etc. Clearly this limits the field of available SP's, but the chances of a successful Punt improve significantly. Rather than the risk of being subjected to the pressures and stress discussed in this Thread I would always opt for a quick wank at home instead!

It's unlikely hotels throw people out without good reason.

A number of guys calling at a hotel room is unusual activity and if it raised suspicions the girl would get a knock on the door from hotel management. She'd have to explain what "legitimate" business reason she was there for assuming the hotel allowed use for business purposes.

Depending on her explanation and/or what was observed in the room the hotel would have the right to terminate the booking without looking stupid.

I used to do some work for a company that hired out hotel rooms for the day. They mostly did interviews in these rooms, so they actually did have a steady stream of blokes visiting for half an hour and then leaving. However, they did leave the door open for most of the day.

Maybe an excuse a wg could use? I wouldn't go as far as leaving the door open though :D.

I’ve done days of interviews in hotels before, it you are recruiting for staff based from home, such as salespeople, it’s cheaper than paying for them all to come to a head office.

I always used hotel rooms both for sales people and for the more confidential interviews for senior managers/directors.
It was normal behaviour for lots of companies.

Hehe. It was a well known company with nearly all of their offices in one area down south. They recruited remote sales staff from all over the UK, but they couldn't expect people to travel all the way from Leeds etc to interview. Not for what they were paying.

They also had client meetings in these rooms, nobody seemed to have an issue with it. I suppose today they'd be using Regus virtual offices or something. They just didn't have the option back then.

Reading the OPs comment this reminds me of one of my earliest punts back in the Naughties.
Had an appointment which was at a hotel in Washington (most punters from the region will know which one I mean). Usual routine of getting the room number 5 minutes and instructions on the best way to approach the room.
So got there for the required time and there were a couple of cleaners in the corridor a few doors up. Going bright red but thinking fuck it I'm here now, I knocked on the door. No reply. Awkwardly I tried not to catch one of the cleaner's eye who was now looking down the corridor at me. Knocked a few more times and again no reply. Thought at this point to make an exit, but the cleaner who was staring at me piped up saying she's probably running late and give her a few more minutes as she'd just cleaned the room and I would be her first today . I nodded and smiled politely and said something like err ok I'll go back to the car.

As I started walking back towards the stairwell I saw the girl I was supposed to be seeing coming up the stairs. After confirming who she was I calmly walked with her to the room, with the cleaners smiling back at her and me and greeting her with a ;Hello Love'.  In turned out be a cracking appointment too.

Left after the hour and the cleaners were still working and being the gentleman I waved and said goodbye

A girl that knows what she is doing and has experience working in hotels will check the landing area before letting you come up. I have been held downstairs a few times on this basis and Im suprised no-one else has mentioned this happening.

I always ask for the internal layout of the hotel if I havnt been there before so I can appear that I know where im going if I have to walk past reception.

When I go in the lift I press the floor required and the floor above or higher if possible. On reaching the floor I look out and if there are staff I put my head back in and am carried up one floor.

Most hazardous time to have a booking is 9-11am as that is when rooms are being serviced, and if I was working I would go out.

The pro girls I know take their own rubbish out the hotel staff never sees it. They wear casual clothes and spend time in the public areas working on a laptop. I actually met one that way we took a coffee in full view of all the staff first.

I have never had a problem in a hotel but some people draw attention to themselves.

I visited an escort in a hotel once and they had a decorator in the corridor, luckily at the other end. The escort said he had been outside her door area the day before- which I think made trade slow for her. He clocked me from a distance and definitely knew what she was up to. It is always a bit of a gamble visiting an escort in a hotel and walking past reception. What I don’t understand is why if you say visiting a friend or business colleague that shouldn’t suffice. It should only be a problem if you are staying overnight and the person has only paid for one person. What happens between consenting adults is none of their business.

Stupid comment!  Noooooo!
Hotels have meeting rooms. No beds just typical meeting room of table,  chairs,  electronics etc. Often bedrooms are refitted as meeting rooms. Makes sense for the hotel as regards improving occupancy rates.

This happened to me this summer.
My punt was in a 2* shithole hotel in central London. I'm certain the staff or manager knew what was going on. On my way down the stairs to the main lobby the manager looked up from two floors below and yelled out asking what I was doing and which room I came from.

I wasn't sure he was talking to me so just continued on my way down and then he physically blocked me from going any further down, grabbing my arm and asking which room I came from.

I turned towards him and said "what the fuck, I've got to go to work now, let me go", yanked my arm free from his grasp then he proceeded to block me again while taking out his phone and saying he's going to call the police. I really did think we were going to end up having a fight and I'd have to kick him down the stairs to get out, he was getting quite aggressive. While he fumbled on his phone I barged past him and quickly made my way out. He followed on and tried to grab my jacket and arm again but I wasn't having any more of this nonsense.

At another hotel I was asked by the cleaning crew where I was going. I glanced at them and one said "are you going to room 40?", which happened to be the room I was going to. I said no, walked past and knocked on the door of room 40 while they looked on. I felt like a complete dickhead. One of the cleaning ladies then commented that they haven't cleaned the room for a few days now so just wanted to know if I knew what was going on in there.

I rarely punt in hotels and I guess I've been unlucky.

Many times I've smiled at a maid at the start of a long corridor and gone into a room further up.
Sometimes they look at you while you go in.

30 minutes later, they are only half way along, and I walk back out, wet hair, bit sweaty, grinning.

Sometimes I wonder if a fiver to the maid would be nice for everyone if the punt has gone well, but cashpoints rarely dispense them and its not often that I have one.

Sometimes, I come out wishing I'd done the milfy-maid instead.

I would not want to put a SP in a bad position if I can avoid it (whether or not I enjoyed the punt - its their business after all) but its inevitable that maids know.  And its the SP's problem - should choose a hotel that is not going to be 'difficult'.

As someone mentioned above, a slice of the action to the maids to get more towels and make life easier goes a long way. Good SPs would price that in. I don't think maids earn that much for pretty mundane work so a few extra squid on the side is much more attractive than giving SPs a hard time. I wouldn't be surprised if some maids knock on working girls' doors once they clock them, and propose a business arrangement. It also makes returning to the same hotel a lot easier.

I know it's hard to think on your feet especially when you've been rumbled but you could have agreed to the police turning up then pointed out they would be speaking to him about the assault on you when he grabbed your arm plus entrapment / imprisonment (presumably there is some sort of appropriate law) when he blocked your exit and the fact that he / the hotel was probably liable for being a brothel  :drinks:

I did think about what could have happened had we got into a fight or he ended up locking me in the basement while the police came. I'm sure he was bluffing when he was on the phone cos I saw him pretending to dial and talk to the police, thats when I forced my way past him.

I'm not sure what the law states regarding hotels, I'm not a guest there, so do I have the right to be there or am I trespassing?

Mind you, getting police involved then having officers come knocking at the door of the house later on and the missus wondering what the hell I was doing in a hotel is the last thing I want to happen.
