I call it a mug’s game due to the risks, not on moral or other grounds. I used to do the street scene and I miss it, but it’s just way too risky these days, the plod will get you.

I miss it too, it’s how I started out.  But yes it is too risky now, too many cctv cameras etc, and the risk is unnecessary given how easy it is to find a well-reviewed girl online.

Window shopping in places like Ghent (same idea as Amsterdam but smaller scale) is as close as I get to street punting these days

I don't think so.

I drove through Stoke Poges Lane at 10pm just a few days back, didn't see any.  (WGs started working  other nearby streets once the cops started cracking down,  but then these started seeing enforcement activity too.) 

Probably occasionally a desperate girl goes out, but probably gets hardly any punters,  there's been many years of sting opps in Slough.
I'm vary rarely in Slough these days though, so could be something going on I don't know about...

About 2010/2011 Ledgers Road there would have been up to 12 Romanians there most nights up to about 4am.

The road was turned into one way and two side roads leading to a disused car park were blocked off which seem to have killed it.

Cheers for the info,  I'm sure the road changes didn't help,  I'd more blame the years of sting opps,  here's a link about a single WPC catching 32 punters in Ledgers Road back in 2011

There were a lot of 'cleaning up' stings and extra police and council patrols in Chalvey - mainly Ledgers Road. It's said that the Roma/Romanian pimps diverted their energies into setting up Devinos (now Zeus). 

The local papers ran articles, including this one, which must have scared the crap out of potential kerb crawlers - names and street names of individuals who appeared in court -   External Link/Members Only
