Yes, its always good to check for that, but definitely not in this instance. She did have clothes, but just casual ones and said she needed to go shopping. I met her a few times before; by chance I know her photographer in Dublin; I know the apartment of old; and she has fluent English. Definitely independent.

Also just because she has excellent English is not proof that she is independent, In think you need to be a little more suspicious, we have no idea what happens behind the scenes
