Newbie in Macau

So, I'll be in Macau fairly regularly. The prices I've seen banded about are more than I would normally pay; so for punting expeditions I'm more likely to go to the Philippines or elsewhere, but for a one off I want to give a go. It just seems really hard to work out the set up (despite having read a bit around here and ISR).

Which establishment would you recommend for someone who was in Macau for the first time?

I cant speak any Chinese, so venues that have a good standard of English is a must. I've read that service varies by girl more than establishment but if any venues have a higher level of service I'd be interested in knowing that too. Not interested in sleeping in the venue as I'll have a hotel, but I like the idea of relaxing for a fair few hours and having a massage etc in addition (so long as there is stuff to do). I'd much rather go somewhere that was busy during the day as then I can have my night free to do what I want to do, but I guess thats not a luxury I'm going to have as reviews seem to indicate that all places are busier/more girls on in the evenings.

There was a mention on here regarding Golden Sauna and how the girls will mingle with the customers. I think I'd prefer that to a line up as you can generally get a feel for the girl before the act, but I havent found much info about Golden other than that. Familia Nobre and Darling 1/2 are the ones that usually crop up - is there any distinguishing features between these? Never done a fish bowl before. Cant say I'm keen on the idea but meh, maybe I should give it a go.

Budget will probably be 5k HKD. Its a one off so I don't mind splurging a bit.

But I found the lounge area in Golden more entertaining and the food was surprisingly good and free.

Hard to know your values...are you looking for top pussy or better price? You say price not an issue, but is that right?

Not really an issue with language ... unless you want chit chat with the girl clearly.  Anyway, there are take out options as well as the Sauna's.  I'm no expert at Macau, but I confirmed what I read in several guides.

There are two entrances to Golden Sauna as seen on the map. Google maps. Rue de Cantao.
I doubt you will spend 5k HKD.
I've probably been to Golden on 7-8 visits. My go to place if I'm sent there on a business trip.
I've been to Familia Nombre also one time. Nice place, clean and organised but boring, poor food. V large lounge area, well dressed staff. But nothing to do chinese sport on the TV channel. A girl came to me and gave me a complimentary shoulder massage for 15-20 minutes. Eventually ask one of the waitresses I want to choose a girl. A guy comes and asks me what type of girl I'd like. Then about 5 minutes later he brought out about 15 girls for a line up to where I was sitting.
 Which to choose, all very lovely,  I was looking up and down the line up, the guy shouted at me abruptly/angrily to choose quickly. Half were Vietnamese, blue bikinis,  half were Chinese, red bikinis. I chose a beautiful Chinese girl and had a great hour with her. Good choice. These girls are trained to perform the services the provide. I find better service from Chinese girls. I think it was about 1800 HKD to pay when I left. Its hard to calculate,  they have a weird way of adding services and subtracting a discount (I don't know what for). So choice of girl, great. lounge boring. Food boring.poor. (asked for Pork with noodles and got Packet of noodles with some hot dogs cut up mixed in)
 I'll stick with Golden Sauna. Always something going on to catch your eye there, plus the occasional entertainment.  Sexy Bingo or the Showtime (bit like musical chairs except you stay in your comfy lounge chair and the girls move from guy to guy performing whatever service  thats announced)
 Real food. Plenty of time, I usually stay in there 4hrs or more.

And the entrance to Familia Nombre is approximately at the ('d ) in d'Assumpcao in the main road. About 6 minutes walking from Golden Sauna. You can check out their prices at the reception desk at the entrance.

Here is my old report - been back again, just as much fun.  So as well as the big sauna, consider small take out, Hou Va = pure brothel and the lap dance take-out club.  Maybe a street walker? Please report if you TOFTT.

  Nice report, I remember reading it. You definitely spent a wad of dosh, but had a great time. My viewpoint is, take the opportunity while you can.
Do you have a location map for this Windmill ? Google maps screenshot ?

Actually, with hindsight, I am quite happy with the VFM - fucked 5 babes for £618.  Including an outcall.  And I was up £120 in casino!.  But the real thing is I was in 'punter mode' for a full 24 hours at that price - it was a great adventure.

As the text says, the SW were on the path south of the Holiday Inn. Just about where it says 'Diamond Casino'.
