I had a message from her around 5am on Sunday, don't have a current subscription so cant read it. I recall the profile from before but there is no messaging history so must have been a while if i ever spoke to her. This has been the quietest I have seen messages being received whilst having an unsubscribed profile, just 15 messages for the whole of December, 10 of them in the last week. This debate has been had many times before. Id say most people think you stand a better chance having a face pic. Personally I never used to have one as I was married and didnt want my photo on there. It certainly didnt prevent me having as much fun as I wanted. These days Im no longer married and so I have a pic. Cant say Ive noticed much difference in success rate tbh.

Let me qualify. You need to have a thing to make women want to see you. If you’re hugely good loking maybe a photo is your thing. My thing is Im pretty good at chat. If your thing is you have inlimited funds you want to make that clear etc

I don’t have a pic as I want to keep a small amount of privacy. Once I start chatting on WhatsApp, I do send a single view pic.  This obviously can be gamed by someone taking a screenshot using a different phone.

I think the site is changing fast because most of the profiles I saw today said they wanted a serious long term relationship or something and no suggestions of arrangements. That could very well be a facade due to the stricter rules in place. If I were you I'd try and chat with a few who have mentioned that on their profile but on WA to get to the bottom of it.

i posted this on the general / national Seeking thread on 27th november:

went into my messages on Seeking today and against one conversation saw the dreaded "blocked" sign - but when looking at the conversation it said "Unable to send a message as user is not approved"

never seen that before. anyone had that before? she was new, only a few days into her membership and young (18) so maybe her ID didn't check out but as i said, i have never seen that exact message before!

several other members reported having it too - still not 100% sure what it means. perhaps because of seeking's new and more thorough validation process, they have failed it? or perhaps it is their "wording" for "banned due to offering sex for money", Not sure!!

If i look a my inbox there seem to be 3 types of status displayed when the profile looks disabled

i) Unable to send a message as user is no longer active
    Looking at the ones I have this for I would say they blocked me as I recognise them as being long distance

    though its entirely possible this could also mean they have been banned
ii) The user's account has been deactivated
    Im wondering if this is where they have deleted/disabled their account
