The raids are hardly surprising and in some cases necessary for the safety of these trafficked girls. Its easy to look at things through the prism of punting but when you look at the wider context and how many Romanians are trafficked, you can hardly blame them for their services. Their is nothing inherently "Romanian" about providing a bad service but for the fact that they are doing it almost entirely against their will. I mean I have worked with Romanians, my previous doctor was Romanian, and I have befriended a few Romanians at university. Its easier to vilify a race of people who are being illegally trafficked than it is to address their exploitation as human slaves. So Romanian girls offering a bad service is a problem, not for us (despite the financial consequences of a bad punt), but for the enslaved girls who are working against their will. I sense that many (not all) people are against seeing Romanians because of the negative connotations associated with their race, than they are because of their opposition to human trafficking. So please avoid, even if you don't care about your own health and safety, value theirs.
