Location: Laygate, on a loop of one-way road around Lidl, legit-looking shop among others

Parking: The supermarket is free for up to 90 mins, but promises huge costs thereafter and has serious-looking cameras.  A layby on the loop of road had free spaces on a Saturday afternoon.

Price/Time/Service: 90 mins Thai massage £50

The shop was nicely turned out and so was the room, with lots of candles.  Didn’t have a “loop” headrest, just a horseshoe cushion, which can be a bit wearing for a longer session.

Massage done naked with towels, didn’t pick up any hints of more on offer

The massage itself was a little chaotic.  Three different women worked on me at different times (gave up on names after a bit) often going out and spending several minutes apparently debating over who was going to work on me next, to the extent that I once asked if anything was wrong!  But the end result was good enough.  Two of the girls walked on my back and legs, which worked pretty well although they remarked that it was hard to do in that room.  Thorough massage that helped my sore back and shoulder.  They never got as far as my front, but they wouldn’t be the only masseuses who got carried away working on tight muscles that they find.  End of time was a bit sudden.  Got a bottle of water.

Overall it was positive although.  As my usual legit masseuse in Birtley is away for six weeks, will probably go back there.  They were hinting I should try a four-hands massage, maybe that would make it easier to decide who did what…

Thanks for the review. Take care with the parking outside of Lidl as at least some of that is on a 1 hour maximum. There's also a car park behind the big roundabout in front of Lidl.
