Well, ok NEARLY legit, there’s a very remote chance they may have relief staff in but the regulars don’t.

The chance of anything else is remote so if that’s the only reason... there’s better options.

Been there five times and seen various girls come and go. Only one ever asked that question after zero swipes and stuff and she was temp relief staff. Declined. I’ve been just for massage so haven’t reviewed because..... no point, it’s legit.

£30 for an hour seems reasonable 

You could always try tempting them, when you get your money out to pay, usually at the start, have a couple of extra 20s on show so they know the money's there......

I've been here a few times for nothing more than a massage. However, I saw a new lady there in reception that I have seen at another shop across the border and I think there now may be more on offer.
A little bit too close to home for me though as my partner goes here too!

Hmmmm most of my “playground” is over the border as you say, though I have a weakness for chinese massage girls and there just aren’t so many in York’s, bloody loads in Lancs lol.

Would be really interested in who is there, though tbh it’s unlikely I’d know her. 

Totally agreed about the shitting on your own doorstep thing, the shop is smack in the middle of one of West Yorks most up and coming foodie and entertainment small towns, sort of place you’d walk out smack into your wife’s best friend walking by as so to say. What could possibly go wrong

This is one of my places I've visited a few times but the last time there was a surly (asian) man on reception who said he was the boss. He took my payment.
The atmosphere was strange and off putting. I won't be rushing back. A shame really 'cause the ladies are really pleasant.

Thank you all very much for your kind words.
It is our aim to offer quality therapies in a congenial environment.
The gentleman on reception is actually our landlord and he very kindly agreed to help out during staff holidays. We don't want our therapists answering the phone or messages during a session when all their attention should be on the client.
I do hope Smithsonian will give us another try and do hope the rest of you gentlemen have not been put off visiting us.
