I don't know about proving anyone wrong, but I suspect that there is no evidence for increased rate of condom breakage following OW. Reason being that this is pretty specific to WGs so they might not collect data on it. Although they could. But ultimately, the people who know best about this are the WGs themselves, which is where the data would come from anyways. So the question is really for WGs to ask each other how often condoms break following OW. And then compare that to the breakage rate for civvies to see if there is any difference.
