I went to a scheduled hospital appointment last week - and sat waiting 45 minutes til I got to see somebody.
Plenty of business contacts promise to call/mail me back - and don't, or not promptly.
I went to the super market and bloody hell, the queue was down the aisles.
I could have stormed out the hospical, bin every business contact who doesn't reply immediately and dump my shoping and storm out the shop - but this is how life is sometimes and I'm a grown up.
So Cara is pretty crap on the admin side of things and half the time she can't be bothered to go trough with appointments. That's why she can only get away with charging £100/hour when she might have been able to charge £120-150 if she was a bit more pro about it. Her loss. If I drove to Sheffield to meet her and got stood up I'd be royally pissed, but if she cancelled before, or didn't pick the phone up what effort have I even put in.

I've waited hours in A&E, for somebody to see me, whilst still bleeding and having to apply pressure. And I consider myself lucky. In my case, late at night and largely due to Eastern Europeans bringing in their kids to A&E for no more than coughs, but children get priority. That's life. Yes, I whinged but sucked it up!
I act in a very reasonable fashion, when requesting a booking. Did you actually read what I posted? I think not. I've been doing this for a very long time. And my approach has evolved. I'm a very understanding person but I can also sniff out when people are bullshitting me. I do not need to go beyond what I consider acceptable. I have plenty of choice in London and the surrounding counties. I don't get hung up on individuals any more. I realized long ago that it's pretty sad behavior.
