My first report.

From last Thursday or Friday…

As previously reported, quite discreet – from the street, looks like you’re going into a cheese shop, but instead of going right into the shop, carry straight on through a door and up the stairs. Place doesn’t look seedy in any case, so no worries there.

When booking, was told Bea and Poy were available - I couldn’t remember much difference from their reviews, so had randomly chosen Bea.

At the top of the stairs, there was a closed door, which first looked like the place might be closed, but was thankfully opened a moment after knocking. It was Bea who welcomed me in – maybe a bit over 5’, smiling and perfectly formed. There was another girl who said hello in reception who I later found was Poy – perhaps a bit taller, but equally pretty and welcoming.

Asked for a firm massage and that’s what I got. Seemed to be no effort spared, and certainly felt like a ‘proper’ massage. I suffer from occasional back pain which I mentioned, and a decent rub always temporarily sorts it out – this was no exception. Throughout, Bea was quite responsive when I spoke to her, though didn’t actually initiate much conversation. It was towards the end of the day, and I got the impression she may have been a bit tired, particularly as she was putting a lot of physical effort into it. Her English isn’t perfect but pretty good so no problems with communication. Time nearly up and there hadn’t been any hint of any extras (I thought maybe she thought I was there purely for the sake of my bad back?) so was relieved to be asked ‘anything else?’ with 5-10 mins remaining. HE accepted, and well delivered with a load of oil (wasn’t really a problem, but maybe too much? Was cleaned up afterwards in any case). Wasn’t offered anything more, but wouldn’t have been interested anyway, so didn’t ask.

On the way out, I noticed Poy was still in reception – looks like she’d been free the entire time, but I’d not had the 4-hand experience offered as has been previously reported. Perhaps they’ve stopped pushing it, though I didn’t ask or mention it anyway. Didn’t see anyone else.

All in all, £30 for massage, £20 for HE, £50 in all. IMO excellent VFM.

Yes – will return sometime, and would be equally happy to choose Bea or Poy.

MJ3,

Was this for 30 minutes?  Or was it the "special offer" which has now expired?

Did they initially use Tiger balm?  They usually ask that question after a minute or two.

I've just checked my notes from two years ago when I saw Bea on my first visit there.

"Within a few minutes there were a few cc swipes", maybe you looked too respectable  or perhaps asking for a hard massage delayed the question  :unknown:

houseboot - Yep, paid for 30 mins and that was pretty much spot on. I didn't even know of any special offer.
(I reread my review a few times before posting - no idea how I managed to leave out such an obvious detail!)

I vaguely remember the Tiger balm question I think - the first few minutes in an unfamiliar place put my mind in a bit of a blur.
Think I'd have turned it down as I wouldn't want to leave the place reeking like a cough medicine.
