The Hun must've been on the waccy baccy last weekend. He was snide to Horizontal Pleasures and Barry Shipton and being a smart Alec gobshite got the better of him, he then shot himself in the foot and was rightly binned by admin.
I think the UKP admin(s) should be more vigilant regarding posts made here. As someone elsewhere said, we call this punting but wives and girlfriends, when they find out out their OH is shagging hookers call it something totally different. It's fun to us and a big joke but there's the outside world's perception of UKP members as being repulsive inadequates who HAVE to pay for sex, who seem to have Neanderthal attitudes towards prostitutes/women and regular traffic here from Mumsnet prudes (or horny/curious married women), the gutter press and of course, Inspector Knacker (and enterprising pimp psychopaths looking for fresh meat to ponce off).
The tone on UKP is generally set pretty low. Some people on here seem to have real problems with women in general, going by comments left by WGs even on the Off Topic forum. Amy on SAAFE steps in from time to time to tell WGs not to criticise punters on threads there. I've never seen the same happen here. It's like schoolboy bravado on UKP a lot of the time. However, UK Punting is never going hit the mainstream anytime soon so that doesn't matter too much. On the other hand, there's nothing to stop a journalist on some Murdoch rag selecting a punters and WGs on here and making them famous for a few weeks for entirely prurient reasons just to sell a few more copies for a day or two.
I'm saying that soon UKP will become a former shadow of itself, like SAAFE and auto-censored have become and that'd be shame - if I hadn't found AW, SAAFE then UK Punting in that order last summer and gotten clued up about modern punting, I might have found myself in a sticky situation or two with no idea what to do or how to get out of them, so Kudos to Nik and Adam. I think people should reign in their tendencies to be dicks and be a bit more mindful of what they post in future.
I like UKP a lot, I read EVERYTHING on it and find it all very titillating and entertaining. I suppose it'll be fun reading an expose on UKP most prolific punters long in the Mail On Sunday or The Sun On Sunday in six months time as long as you're not the one with your picture in the paper....
