My review for Kitty Adams of Newcastle. The meet never happened

Booked: 2 hour incall (£210) by text message 3 days before appointment- reply received confirmed as booked by Kitty. As requested I text to confirm on the morning of the appointment, no reply. Text again in the afternoon, no reply. I figured that she’s busy, she’s well reviewed and always has been great in comms. So I arrive at the booked time, text for house number, no response.

I call her mobile. It rings and rings, eventually going to voicemail. I leave a message. I also text. This is a Sunday evening. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement, I’d wanted to see Kitty for a long time and the time was finally right. But she stood me up.

It was a long time coming. The response to my messages to her. Six long days after she failed to show for my appointment, I get a message through AW. Here’s what she said:

“I’d like to apologise for last Sunday, I came down with tonsillitis on the Saturday and it completely slipped my mind to let you know I wouldn’t be well :( really hope you weren’t waiting about too long, i’d love to rearrange with you and i’ll take £20 off my fee for your wasted time last week :)
all the best and hope to see you soon,
kitty
xxxxxx”

Imagine how bad the tonsillitis must have been to make someone who runs a one woman business which involves making appointments, to forget to check her diary. For it to have “slipped my mind”!  :unknown:

As for the £20 off a future booking, that barely covered my petrol for a 60 mile round trip! I made my feelings clear to her in a response back through AW, and which I know she has read. She has not responded further.

Regrettably, cos I’d really wanted to see this well reviewed girl, it has to be a negative

Kitty Adams is awarded the Tyne Tunnel ‘Seal of Disapproval’   :dash:

I can't believe you travelled thirty miles for a punt after having no contact  for 3 days  :unknown: It was a disaster  waiting to happen. As for her reviews
Just over 50% positive so not exactly brilliant. Her excuses are shit though, how does tonsillitus stop you communicating ?

I wasn’t expecting any further contact until the day of the booking, nor necessarily a response to my confirmation text. I was a little wary about travelling tbh after no response to my second text, but had made my excuses at home so didn’t want to arouse suspicions there either.

I take your point regarding previous feedback, but still I figured she was reliable based on my previous communications.

Anyway it appears tonsillitis makes you forget how to run your business. A learning point there for many of our self employed readers!  :hi:

I always send a confirmation and always expect a reply.

Even then I try to mix a punt with other things so if it goes tits up the whole day isn't wasted.

Bad form from her.  I was thinking the same as Alfie though - her reviews (including a neutral from me) are mixed at best.

I do however understand that if you've set up an excuse you sometimes have to follow it through rather than create suspicion.  If it's any consolation, I don't think you missed much.

I'm with Alfie on this one, I wouldn't have wasted my time travelling. If you have not had a txt reply from the girl on the day of the punt don't go. My only exception to this rule would be a regular who I trust to keep me informed of any problems.

+1  If i'm going to be travelling some distance always sort out confirmation & reply

I'm also with Alf and Mansel on this one,  I wouldn't have traveled anywhere near that distance without a confirmation. That’s why WG’s want confirmation from us, so they don't loose out and can offer the booking to someone else if you’re not “Cumming”.

As WK said too mix things up so it’s NOT a totally wasted journey. I’m usually doing “Work Stuff”, BUT I often have a couple of other Pans simmering away on the stove, in-case the first one Boils Dry, for some reason.  :D

If I book a few days in advance I would always check on the morning of the meet ...with the girl or the Agency to make sure the escort knows and gives me confirmation it is taking place....I usually travel using public transport (meaning bus & train up to the Toon) so it can often be a timesome journey.

Until I have confirmation of the meet I don't set off   :hi:

I did have a plan B in the form of Demi from Premium but given the short notice she was fully booked for the rest of the day by the time I called the agency. This is the first time a WG has flaked on me, so I never really considered just not attending. I had a plan B because there was a nagging doubt in the back of my head after getting no reply, I’m future if I get no reply I won’t travel. Thanks all for your advice  :drinks:

Been there done that. I never have a plan b.

I did once get an on the morning cancellation from Holly Jameson and organised a rush plan b with Vanessa@premium which was fantastic.

Later in punting career I got a radio silence from Cameron and didn't bother traveling and just posted a negative on here.

Personally I don't have plan B's but then I'm lucky enough to have spare time when I want. Others not in that situation may prefer a plan B. But I've had them go wrong on me, so don't bother.
