I am an "old hand" just had a bad moment. Put it down to stupidity if you like but should have lived by my own rules (including a trial punt !!) and trusted way beyond the norm. As a result she took the cash up front but I was not overly concerned as her bag was in sight and she seemed to be settling in. In hind sight can now see she was working on the scam. On the excuse for having a fag and making a phone call she stepped outside (not for the first time) but unbeknown to me - defences down- she took the bag with her and that was the last I saw. Realised that she must have been working with an associate /accomplice and either text them or rang them to pick her up. In that sense a smooth operator . A fool and his money are soon parted. Its not the dosh that maters, was going to spend anyway ! but the lack of trust. Also as referred to below she gave a big spiel about being a manager on a good salary for care workers, I doubt this very much as she is not the brightest chip on the block and her skin condition is really bad. She is just a bad sort and not to be trusted . This happened in the surrey/south London area, yes was supposedly staying at the Gatwick travel lodge. Be warned. By rights she should be barred from AW and all other listings.
