Author Topic: AdultWorks negative and neutral Feedback  (Read 769 times)

The question of trusting in the AdultWork feedback was recently brought up.  I have been guilty of  not leaving a warranted  Negative or Neutral for fear of it being unjustifiably returned. What has the recipient got to loose!    The AdultWork online help does answer the specific time Feedback is withdrawn.

You're right about people being afraid to leave negative feedback on AW for fear of retaliation however you can pretty much eliminate that risk if you leave them negative feedback right before (as in only a matter of second before) the deadline for leaving feedback. This means they have no time/chance to retaliate, unless they preemptively give you a negative (i.e. before you leave them any feedback) which is obviously very rare. The only real issue is that you have to able and ready to do it just before midnight on the exact deadline, which may not be possibly if you're doing something else and/or can't find the privacy at that exact moment. I remember once having such a bad punt that I was a little annoyed that I went on a night out instead of leaving the shit prossie some bad feedback

So a query was sent to AdultWork for clarification -

When a meeting has been negative I will not leave that rating for fear of reprisal. The help indicates a month allowed. Is this 30 days from the booking or at that months end ? Once clarified a genuine rating could be left 1 minute before midnight, so avoiding retaliation.  With thanks.

Hello

Thank you for your email.

We can confirm you can leave feedback 30 days from the booking not at the months end.

If you work 30 days onward from your booking time to leave Feedback, reprisals should be avoided. More than likely this means  a few minutes before midnight of that day.
You can always do a trial run and see just when the ability to leave the Feedback rating is no longer on your AW menu. This should then give members confidence to be brave knowing they can leave a genuine rating.  UK PUNTING ratings look to be be 90% reliable ( always errors etc )  opposed to AdultWorks much lower figure, where. you just don`t find the equivalent number of dissatisfied comments.

Think most people just play the game.

Instead of leaving a negative/neutral, they don`t say anything in fear of getting a shit one back, they will put their negative/neutral on here if they are members.

If they leave a positive, most times they get one back.

Quite a few SP`s will look at your feedbacks before accepting a booking or you may need a minimum.

Any feedback system , wether it`s Adultwork, Tripadvisor, Ebay, Amazon etc is open to abuse or manipulation.

I barely use AW booking system. I like to think I'd neg a lady on AW if she was shit. I was too scared or green to do that for first couple of years of punting though. Today, I think my AW feedback could withstand the impact of any nasty lying retaliatory feedback but the depths they can go to eg "He smelt foul and refused to shower and then became aggressive......." kind of thing, does make you wonder if it's worth it.
Funnily enough, I noticed a couple of ladies I have my eye on are insisting they only see clients with positive recent AW feedback - it's this sort of thing that makes guys paranoid about not sullying their record I suppose.

This is worthy of a Viz top tip.

One way to get loads of positive feedback is to set yourself up as a service provider.
Then just book yourself and leave yourself some excellent feedback, then repeat 100 times.

They could easily improve the system if both wg and punter feedbacks were withheld until both had been submitted or until the month was up. That way, you couldn't have tit-for-tat negatives, it would be too late.

I have used Airbnb and this is how they operate their feedback system.
