On two occasions recently I have been asked for a deposit prior to a meeting taking place. On both occasions I have refused to pay, I don’t care who they are or how fantastic their feedback is I’ve no intention of paying any monies up front.

I have good AW feedback and that should be sufficient in my opinion. Is this a new trend or have I just been a little unfortunate in my choices. Any views would be welcome from my colleagues on UKP. J

If it is a new trend I won’t be taking part in it. I have solid feedback as well so don’t see a need for a deposit. Just never gonna happen for me.... it’s a cash game only for me

Like you, i`ve got solid AW feedback ( that`s where it comes in handy even if most people on here says its all bollocks )
If someone asked me for cash up front, i`ll say no thanks, plenty of others to choose from, over 600 within 10 miles that are on AW from me+ parlours.

I'd never say never.... What are the circumstances - incall? Outcall? How long d'ya want? If an outcall, how far is she having to travel?
If it's a bog standard 30/60 min incall at hers I'd be very resistant to idea of a deposit but...... If I really fancied her and it was only £20ish who knows, maybe I would. To be honest, losing £20 wouldn't phase me,  I'd be more concerned about my anonymity and possibly revealing bank details to her really.

I'm kinda with you there. The idea of a deposit - generally not. On the other hand if it were 20 quid, not so much of a drama - not exactly going to break the bank for me at least. The way I view it is some guys are prepared to travel significant distances to punt, incurring travel costs that won't be recouped if they get a no-show at the other end - don't really see a small deposit lost as any different really and these days I won't entertain long-distance punting. A girls reputation would also play a significant part in my decision to - any sign of flakiness would mean absolutely no chance.

Fair point... especially if was a longer booking.  But if you put a deposit in then got a no show, you would be double pissed.

When I had zero feedback on AW and I wanted to see a certain pornstar she asked for a deposit. I declined and went to the next on my HL got some feedback and she was happy to see me but I didn't bother. I never looked back.

I can't be arsed with deposits. How do you pay anyway without leaving a transaction trail, possibly revealing your ID?

Thanks for all the feedback, some interesting points made. Seems that each case would need to be assessed and a decision taken. Many of you are far more experienced than myself, it’s just something I’m not comfortable with.  Thanks J

A good point, but the difference between spending £20 on a deposit and spending £20 on travel costs, is only one of the two enriches a scammer pretending to be a prossie.

I think that the more popular girls will have a "no show" element built into their pricing structure, just like a business will make provisions for,  and forecasted unrecoverable debt which will be charged against the gross profit or added onto the selling price .

Not for me. A good track record with feedback should be enough to tell the timewasters from the legit buyers. And I certainly won't be giving a WG any bank details, I don't even give them my real name or number!

100% agree.... I'll never do a deposit of money up front. If she decides to do one (high chance of) thats the money gone and more fool you.... i don't  care if its 50 pence or 100 quid. No up front money until face to face ready to get down to business..
