Booked a few days in advance all comms by aw email.
On the morning sent a confirmation text and no reply.
Tried calling several times but her phone just rang out.
Total waste of time.
Sent her an email asking what had happened, eventually got a reply not even an apology just that she was sick.

If this is her attitude towards customers then i probably had a narrow escape from someone who doesn't give a shit.

You don't seem to happy G..please don't take it personal and it's not like me not to apologise..but I was sick with tonsilitus..I could not lift my head..tonsilitus is a sore illness sweetheart so I'm sorry you didn't get your meet but I honestly could not have possibly did it..and was so ill I just forgot about my meets I had booked but explained to all when well enough to do so, so again I apologise xx

Tonsilitus is not just a sore throat my dear..and I'd like a doctor's input here on just how sore an infection it is. You had not heard from me for days leading up to this potential meet...you sent me a text and got no confirmation so my dear I let you know something was wrong on the day...hence the no reply..did you even leave your house that day to attempt to get to me?...no because you got no confirmation, so where was the mess about? I agreed to the meet days before hand ( still always to be confirmed ) I agreed in passing but never ever confirmed so gimme me peace guys I was not sick..I was ill real ill I could not tell you what my name was my fever spiked so high never mind what meets I had that week..so go read up on tonsilitus (if that's how you spell it) or ask your doctor boys as a dangerously high temperature does indeed affect your ability to type. I was if you had only got in touch after I publicly apologised giving a discount HappyG and the red carpet rolled out but why bother as missing this meet with you has sent you on a personal vendetta on my name as a service provider. Don't speak to me like a child as I'm a grown woman and will track yous down!..kidding on. That's a load of tosh... I know fine well what tonsillitis is, and as I have said have suffered plenty from it in the past, so don't have to look it up... There can be more severe bouts of it, granted... However it doesn't mean you can't contact someone to cancel ie. Use your fingers...

A booking time/day was arranged in advance... Whether you confirmed or not, the night before or on the day doesn't matter... You gave him the old "radio silence" treatment, when a short text/email would have sufficed...He can NEG you on here for that, and has...

WGs don't like it when punters waste their time, and rightly so... Its a two way street though, so bare that in mind...

If I've had it several times then I've had it a 1st and 2nd time obviously... I've had bad bouts, and not so bad bouts of it... The OP had to get back to yo, then when you did reply, eventually, not so much as an apology.. I've had one or two WGs cancel on me due to tonsillitis, where they have emailed/txt, apologised. And asked if I would like to rearrange...

Oh I liked her feist! However (and in the expectation that she'll find a way to keep track of this) I've a couple of points.

First, high fever isn't the first symptom of tonsillitis. She would've known she was feeling poorly (and potentially infectious) a couple of days beforehand, and that was the time to contact and cancel. I had a punt (not her) cancelled in December for the same reason. A couple of days advance notice, professional, amicable, and we re-arranged. Simple, and reputation enhancing rather than damaging.

Second, she wanted us to validate her perspective but that should be mutual. Radio silence on the day of a punt isn't communication! She needs to respect that punters may need to create opportunity and availability to punt, and that by her behaviour she scuppered that for the OP. No respect whatsoever.

Third, she's allowed to speak up for herself but it's difficult not to translate her shite management of a dispute on here to how she might be if things weren't going well in a punt.

Sorry I've not been on sooner, i guess I'm lucky the punt never went ahead as Ruby has shown on here that she's a bit unhinged.
Her apology on here was far too late and i want be taking up her offer of a discount.
I would hope she thinks long and hard about the way she treats potential customers otherwise she's going to have a dusty phone.
I think she was full of shite about the tonsilitis and she has previous for not confirming booking requests, probably using that as an excuse for not going through with bookings.
