External Link/Members OnlyJust got back from the above. Now I've been to the Ber Street massage place several times. Always clean, well spaced and friendly. The last couple of times the massage has been a little light, more skin polishing than actually affecting the muscles. I went to a Thai place in London a few weeks ago and the massage was spot on, cracked my back with her heels! However, onward to the review:
Walked straight in as no appointment and no-one waiting. Greeted by Angela, very friendly. I'd say mid 30's at the least and OK to look at (I'm sure sparkling personality though, I'm no Van Gough either). Straight into the room and it was clear she wanted me to take the 30min option which I went along with for £30.
On the couch, butt naked as per the norm. Angela came in little bit chatty but not too much, very friendly. No effort in the massage though, just stroking really but still relaxing. Either she wasn't well trained or it was just late (7pm) in the day. I like a firm massage as I'm quite sporty but this is the kind of pressure you'd baste a turkey with. SHe asked if I wanted extras and thought might as well, although totally not stimulated. She said B2B and HR and I said I usually pay £40 for that and she said OK. Stripped down and body was a struggle to get sexy feeling about, slim but not toned, tits like empty bookshelf and body like it was closer to 40s. B2B on back first and then on front, it was OK but a bit like how you'd iron a shirt before going out to that work dinner you weren't bothered about, long strokes without much purpose with the outcome in mind. She then started on my little boy who was as interested as a blind man watching a silent Chaplin film, eventually rose to the purpose and came with the same enthusiasm as finding a £1 coin down the back of the sofa (Oh. cool) Her technique was straight in rather than teasing the cobra out of the basket.
Wiped up with paper so not brilliant. Came home and had shower. The distraction from laptop was good and worth the money but with hindsight, A microwaved damp sock and some webcam porn would've been better value, still, nice to get out of the house.
Angela did say it was her first day which would explain a lot. An OK experience but one leaving me to think about trying the other Oriental Massage places or a Massaging prosi.
