Author Topic: I wish WG's would accept Credit Cards from their regulars  (Read 7731 times)

I think a lot of builders, electricians, gas fitters, plumbers etc would be crying into their beer. I know of one gas fitter who had to get his accountant to provide proof of earnings when taking out a small mortgage for his 3rd property as he had only been declaring about a third of his earnings! I think he earned more than escorts

I seen some escort agency's, on their web site, there was an option to pay by credit card

Last time I went to LMP at their new premises, they had a swipe machine in the entrance hall.

Yep - in fact they had it last year while they were still at LG.

I think that there are plenty of people in occupations who like to dodge taxes, so it's fair to contextualise by pointing that out. Not that it justifies it, but every single occupation you've listed has to undergo some kind of qualification or training, apart from prostitutes, of course.  :hi:

An indie could have a card reader implant in her arse crack, so you swipe it when she bends over.
You could strap it to your cock and pay per thrust as you banged her arse!

sounds a bit awkward for the poor woman

I wonder if this might be a method to pay escorts with in the future

While it isn't a credit card it is a way to replace cash which as anyone can see is slowly being marginalised (contactless, debit/credit cards). The downside is that for those with something to hide you may need a separate account for your punting rather than leave it to appear on any joint account although as you can add a note to the payment you could call it "bar tab", though it might mean your other half thinks your an alcoholic. I never feel comfortable carrying large amounts of cash, so this might be a solution.

The problem with electronic transactions is that they leave a trail which can never be deleted. Unless you are using something like Bitcoin both parties  will have eachother's real names and bank account details which is no good.

If a wg falls foul of the taxman and you are transferring money to and from her account electronically you can bet that your bank account will come under some scrutiny. Furthermore, if something like the Swedish Model comes to pass where purchase is criminalized for punters having financial  transactions  between yourself and a known wg would certainly be evidence to implicate you. Cash is king for now.

Well if we go the nordic model then yes it isnt going to work.  Bitcoins not likely to be used by WG's, just imagine telling a girl that while it isnt legal tender and it is created by digital "mining", its not backed by any government but its worth an overnight. Doubt it would go far.

But we dont have the nordic model and I sincerely hope we never get to it. If it doesn't then apart from the potential tax implications (and only if the tax man actually looks) it might work. As I understand it (if I have got it right) all I would know of the girl is her mobile number not her bank account and the same the other way around so there would be the privacy. Maybe one of the WG's could comment on if it might be possible from their point of view?

meh...
Looks like you have to know the name of the account holder when trying to pay using mobile numbers, so cash is still king for punting.

Apparently £20 out of every £100 spent is done in cash these days, scary thoughts.

I get the hassle part though, it's difficult to justify £80 cash every few weeks.

you dont need a name - just a number.
the banks have an interchange where you can route but it creates a record of the transaction

Well pretty much everything electronic would have a data trail but this paym system does actually require you to confirm the account holders name that you wish to send the money too. Least thats what the report on moneysavingsexpert said.

Nope not scary at all as i am happy to do shopping , fuel , big buys ect on CC

As for paying a WG in anything but cash it will not happed, and 99% of WGs will like to keep it that way .

maybe thats correct. I had a look at the technical provisions a few years back and its not essential for the technology but might be required to ensure that errors don't occur
