I have not been there for a while and I understand the street scene is not what it was. The massage places seem to be the best and cheapest way. You can try the night club scene but works out expensive not unless you go and take numbers for another day.

As far as I am aware you are not allowed any girls in any hotels, you have to be married. Your best bet is to go on airbnb and read the booking info or questions. If it is Morrocan owned there is very little chance, foreign owned and there is a possibility. They usually say married only but a few dont mention this and again you have a chance. Appts are the best opportunity and usually Italian owned.

My friend and I got back from Kesh a few weeks ago and it was a bit of a shit show.

We had an Airbnb booked and my friend went a few days ahead of me.

Anyway long story short, she ended up back in the Airbnb 1am and somehow got her friend inside as well and he was outnumbered. They demanded 500 euros and started smashing up the place and filming it all. They threatened him, screamed at him, lunged at him with broken glass. They laughed and belittled him said nobody is coming, police are a sleep, he'd go to jail and never see his family again. All of this was a pre-planned set up. He's too passive and not a fighter and quite frankly he doesn't do well in stressful situations. I guess they were street wise predators and quickly assessed their target outside McDonald's. Anyway, after 3hrs he managed to get them out for a £250.

When I got there the mood was gone and he really wanted to go home and so did I to be honest. Don't blame him.
I guess this could be considered a rare situation and hope it doesn't put people off but guys, be on your guard, don't go solo and have an exit route or Plan B when things go sideways.

Yep agreed, no matter what, never allow more than two in the apartment.

However, he's been to Marrakesh half a dozen times so wasn't a rookie. I guess it can happen to anyone, but these were ruthless individuals out to scam and extort with violence if necessary. The only sure shot way of getting laid in Kech are the hamams. The clubs like monte cristo and 555 are expensive, girls are demanding. It is well laid trap to keep you in the club until late so you spend money on buying drinks, then pay off the security, the taxis and finally the girl who wants to quickly fuck and leave. By the time you are done with the first shot you are tired and can’t be bothered to insist on her staying for more.

The fun is in the chase. Picking up girls from cafes, malls is the most difficult but the best experience when it works out.

First thing to note, Marrakesh is currently very hot!

Midafternoon today I wandered into the Elite building and past a bored concierge at a desk. My mission was to check out reports that Luxery Spa, on the second floor, is closed. The door was indeed shut and there was no sign of life. So I wandered up to the third floor, having read reports of Elite Beauty Spa. This too looked closed, but this time I tried the handle. Locked. Just as I was walking away it opened and I was ushered back and inside.

A one-hour massage and hammam was quoted at DH600. Having paid that, I was ushered into a massage room to choose from three girls. I picked the one who said she spoke English (sorry, her name and personality were forgettable). Turns out she didn’t speak English. Massage first, she indicated.

The massage was slow and perfunctory in a large room with lots of traffic noice from outside - and, more disturbingly, a toddler running around outside the room. After 15 minutes I was turned over and the rather lengthy haggling began. Her opening offer was 1,000dhm for a blowjob. I countered with 500 and we eventually settled on 700. Then came the request for cash up front. I refused. Having realised I wasn’t budging she disappeared, returned with some Kleenex and did the deed - nothing special: no clothes removed, no kissing, though she did swallow.

Then it was straight into the hammam, having first negotiated my way past the toddler (I was wearing a robe). The hammam was actually the high point of the visit. The room was as hot as a sauna, but the water was cool without being cold, and the same girl made a point of giving me a slow and careful wash and scrub all over, head to toe, more professional than her massage had been.

In all, I was probably there for one hour - and I suppose “one hour massage and hammam” is what I paid for, but for a total of DHM1300, just over £100, it was not as much fun as Luxery earlier in the year Perhaps if I’d tried the handle on the Luxery Spa, that door too might have opened… anyone care to find out?

As I left, there were a couple of Moroccans sitting outside the Elite Beauty Spa door. Downstairs, the concierge I has slipped past earlier had disappeared. On his chair was a cat.

Mixed reports on the magnitude of the quake, although I'd of thought hotels etc would need structural surveys to ensure they are safe to occupy.
I'd suspect many buildings will need to be pulled down.

Got into my room at the riad just before the rumbling started. It was almost surreal... you first go into denial and then accept/ realise what's actually happening. The only thing in the room I could hold onto for stability was the bed. And roof plaster was crumbling onto it from above.
Thankfully, it subsided pretty quickly. Everyone in the riad ran out to the medina and most stayed out until 4am.

Last night, I was in a car driving along the outskirts of the walled city and there are so many families sleeping outside now; not going back home as they're worried it's unsafe. Sections of the wall have obvious cracks.

Only been to Elite Spa the day I arrived.. had a selection of girls but the one I chose was a bit of a let down
Most of the others mentioned in this thread are open as far as I can tell. You get approached every few mins in Gueliz by people offering hammam and Google shows them as open

Recently returned from a week in Marrakech.

Bloody hot out there.

Not all of the spas have re-opened.

I tried the one at the top floor near Cafe Elite - poor choice of girls on the days I checked.  Very sad.

This is going to be a bit of a write up (might've put a lot of useless info so apologies wasn't sure how the reviews are usually written in this section lol)

Was bored and had a week off work so booked a last min solo trip to Marrakech
Day 1
Landed in Marrakech early morning and had to wait until the afternoon to check into hotel so went to Elite Spa - met Mr H (co-owner) and a French guy who was also looking for a massage. Mr H gave us the induction in both French and English
Had a choice of 5 girls. I chose Nedha who was a 7/10. Petite build with pretty face. Massage was a bit shit paid 500 for a 1h each massage and hammam. Tinder was a great resource if the clubs aren't your scene and if you don't speak French - been home 5 days now and have matched with another 20odd 8+/10s - got their numbers for potential future visits.
Checked out McDonald's late at night once but wasn't really interested in any of the girls I saw
Also went to Elite Cafe but didn't see any girls there whatsoever (food also wasnt great)
Didn't get to check out Montecristo or 555 in the end but still had a lot of fun. Was basically a 5 day bender that's went way too fast as I was completely fucked for most of it but was just what I needed from the holiday

Great review, Direwolf.  Sounds like an interesting mix of Tinder and normal bar pick up.  Do you see any difficulty for 50+ yo guys who meet girls based on money not youth?  Not ever even though of opening Tinder before.  But as they say, when in Rome....

I'm looking for a week away on my own for some adult time late December. It's the first time I'm planning a trip like this and have been looking at short haul places from the UK (looked at Thailand too as I'd love the idea of doing that but only have 4 nights I can sneak away for tops).

Actually went to Morroco this summer with the kids and very interested in going back on my own. Saw some stunning women there and a friend mentioned that it's good for this kind of thing too.

I'm not sure about how to go about this with Tinder? How do you set things so that it's obivious what you're doing? I'm more used to using AW or agencies and I'm not confident that I'd know how to sort things out by just going into bars etc.

I'd be looking for somewhere I can chill by the pool and then easily get girls over for a few hours or the night or something. Any recommendations on where to stay? 

For finding girls, are there not agencies that can be used? Also, if I go for a Hamman - is it obvious which ones you can go to for some extras?

Nah - I think as long as you visit the well known spots mentioned on here you'll be fine. Saw plenty of older guys (White and Asian) approaching girls and getting numbers

Can't really speak to tinder though as I did match with a lot of civvies at first. Made it clear in my bio what I was there for and then started matching with girls who are on the game and got a few numbers from that. I'd get it out there in the first few messages what your looking for though as a couple of the girls got a bit offended when I suggested payment

Cheers BasqueBrummie, I have been through it all and still just not 100% sure on what was meant about using Tinder (was thinking there was something specific in settings or certain phrases to use as I know that exists) - sounds like it’s more about what you put in your profile.

Also, agencies and getting girls to rooms sounds a bit of a nightmare and although there are certain spa’s which you get more chance in - there’s not specific ones guaranteed. Like I say, just new to this and trying to confirm as it’s all seeming a little more effort than going for a longer haul flight to Thailand where things sound to be more straight forward. :-) I promise I have read all and wasn’t just asking and being lazy. Just confused. :-)

@direwolf, great report mate.  Glad you had fun.  Good tip about using the Indrive app.  I used Careem in Dubai and it worked well and I have an account. Their website says they operate in Kesh so it should be fine.  I don't enjoy haggling with the taxi drivers especially at night when you just want to get to your destination!  I will be there at the end of Nov and will report back.
