Perfumed or not?

The nearly getting caught thread has made me think about this issue. I would imagine that those without wives or partners don't care too much if the WG wears perfume. Despite the fact that I'm not bothered either way, no wife etc to worry about, I've mentioned to a couple of girls that they shouldn't really wear scent unless specifically asked for it. I do remember the days when I wasn't single and taking the scent of another woman home was my biggest nightmare. Do others feel the same?

Perfume is a major problem and a massive no for me. The only thing you can do is grab a shower and scrub yourself raw with a shower gel the wife will also smell, not recognize and ask questions about.

I do, no perfume unless i request it, i mention none please when i book. Years ago glitter was a problem with many WGs as well in my experience, in fact a punter mate of mine got caught out he told me by a bit of glitter stuck to his back, he had had two showers since the punt. The problem a WG might have with perfume though is the punter before you might request it and even after a shower the smell might remain.

Also if a WG smokes openly that can cling to clothes and if your partner isnt a smoker and your not considering there is a smoking ban in pubs etc it could be tricky to explain.

Very good points, when I was concerned about smells, even showering and using whatever soap or gel the girl had on offer was a worry but I figured that any smell was better than perfume or fanny.

I vaguely remember reference to some guy who was having an affair that used to always stop for diesel on the way home and of course he'd ways manage to spill a bit on himself. I took inspiration from this once and claimed I'd broken down  as an excuse for a massive amount of unaccounted time. Of course my car had a fuel problem and I managed to get it all over my hands whilst fixing it. Fuckin stunk when I got in the house and had to jump straight in the shower. I'm such a devious bastard.

Even though I asked her not to wear any I took a clean shirt with me prepared to bin the original if I got scent on my shirt.

Turns out it was fine - no perfume at all.

Just to clarify. I think the guy I referenced here actually ended up murdering his wife... I did not take  inspiration from that part of the story nor do I advocate this if you get found out.

Definitely agree. I've been in trouble for this sort of thing and it's amazing how sensitive your partner's nose can be.

If I have all the time in the world (like when the gf was away for the weekend) I'm not that fussed, but I think it should be standard practice for prossies not to wear perfume unless asked. Similarly they should not text out of the blue.

Discretion is paramount.

For me perfume is not a problem, but I can imagine that perfume, an unfamiliar shower gel or even the smell of a condom on an unwashed dick could set the alarm bells ringing with a suspicious partner!!

I always specify no smoke or perfume. The other day I visited a lady who said she never smoked in the bedroom for that reason. But I drove home through the winter day with the heating full blast and the windows open to try and rid myself and clothes of the pong of her smoke just from leaving my clothes on a chair. I did not realise I had the smell until I was in the car.

Luckily missus HP was out and by the time she came home my clothes were in the washing machine and I had had a bath. I got brownie points for doing the laundry.

Not a real problem for me as I'm not married or in a relationship atm. However, times when I've not showered directly after a punt I'm a bit concerned that other members of the public might smell it on me while I'm travelling home and wonder why a guy is 'wearing' womens perfume

I don't mind if the girl wears a light fragrance or body spray, though in my "modest" experience they are mostly freshly-showered and unperfumed when I've met them.  I have noticed that a some of the girls put perfume on their wishlists, but I appreciate that its not often that guys bring them extra gifts.
