Well after that little derailing, by the ex Miss Winehouse wannabe, I thought I'd update you on my proposed punt today...

Being self employed now I have a bit more flexibility with my time and after some discussion about time, agreed that we'd do a 2 hour punt at 9am, given that it's not 10:15 and I'm typing rather than "baw deep", it's probably rather obvious that I'm not punting.  Worked on till 10pm last night as well in order to clear my diary for a couple of hours this morning, that and the fact that I took cash out the cashpoint are what annoy me more than getting let down, which to be fair I half expected.  Typing that made me sad, I shouldn't be going into a punt expecting to be let down.

Tried to call her at 8:45 as agreed, no answer, text to see if we were still on for 9, then tried calling a couple of times and sent a text asking her to get in touch when she wakes up, before giving up at 9:45 and heading to my Office.  I thought about just turning up as I know where we were to meet, but despite being messed around, I didn't feel comfortable just turning up.  I look forward to hearing the excuse for the day... 

I thought about lining up a plan B punt, with a good girl who could have seen me at 10:30-11:00, but that would have meant a 70odd mile round trip to Edinburgh, which would have got me back to my desk well after 1pm, rather than 11:30 as I had planned/allowed for.  I'll keep my powder dry on that one and see her in the future.
