The Silver Lady is fairly useless. It is up to date, in that it has today's date. But of the four girls whose photographs appear (one of whom isn't named), only two appear on the rota. Information o nhe girls is pretty minimal too. And why, in God's name is somebody apparently trying to pinch Honey on the bum?? (See the photo of today's girl.)

Agreed, and I have to say that I don't fancy any of the women whose pictures are on display. What a shame - I had some of my best punts at SL back in the 90s, and never had a bad experience there at all.

Another issue. The long list posted by con-a-ser (on previous page) comes, I think, from a site called trickytours (which may have got it from somewhere else itself). It is very out of date, listing several closed establishments, leaving others out, and with a high percentage of non-functioning links. Last time I tried the Jackies website, I got a message up saying "this site may harm your computer". I think it's been taken down since, although the place still seems to be in business. Still, I suppose the list is better than nothing at all.

Yes, I've been to Salon 38. It's up a back alley in Middleton. Website bears no resemblance to reality that I can see as far as the girls are concerned. I've been three times: last time was about eighteen months ago. I can't remember who I saw on any occasion. It was somebody different each time. First visit was great: adventurous attractive woman in her 30's. Second visit not so good. Third visit was rubbish: I was rushed through by a grumpy latino girl (probably Portuguese rather than the dreaded Romanian). Whatever. She was clearly only interested in the money. Service came a long way second. So one excellent, one mediocre and one poor punt at this place. Was I lucky first time or unlucky on the third? You tell me. Oh, and it was pouring every time I visited.

Oh dear, I see I've just posted about salon 38, when I was supposed to be commenting on salon 24, which is not a million miles from Victoria Station. And the answer is:sorry, I've never been there. But its website is good and seems to be up to date. I would not put it on the "name and shame" of crap Manchester parlour websites which started this thread off.

Was much older and fatter than described.thought the place was pretty scraggy overall.I think salon38 version shares some of the women so probably similar.some EE.
Sheridans not too far away from there & is no palace, but Amy chloe & Colette well recommended.

I recall them going mad & spamming forums at one point but seen a few decent report now & again

As for Orchid one a few of the girls could be found on the Arabesque website & heard Silver Lady might be getting work don on it soon & with MonRose opening down the road might be a nudge they need

When it opened, maybe 8 [?] years or so ago, I seem to remember rumours that it was under the same ownership as "Arabesque".  I'm not sure if they were ever true; or, if they were, whether they still are.

I went once, one winter Friday night, and remember it as a dingy, unwelcoming place down a very poorly-lit ginnel from the main road north out of Middleton town centre.

It was on my only visit, hocko; I was like a drowned rat by the time I'd got to their front door.

So I wasn't in a good mood for an punt which was unmemorable, even if the Parlour and the weather weren't!

My favourite place doesn't have a web site or any online presence at all. It's a shame really because it would only add extra value to the business and help give better customer service. It would also help to cut down the phone calls asking who is on.

In the 21st century it is a shame that more of these businesses don't embrace technology. I know it isn't the be all and end all but even if they offered e-mail newsletters or text services with a list of girls working that night or allow you to pick your faves and send out a notification when they are on.

I guess they take the view that they are doing well without it so why bother.

To update this thread a bit.
Baileys now has a new owner and the website is not worth bothering with, as its some of the workers there, the rota has nobody working day or night for the last 4 weeks.

Salon 38 is not owned by the Arabesque crowd,  though some of the girls who work at arabesque are working at Orchid so they might be under the same banner.

And a bit more updating: New Scarletts also seems to be "under new management", and in this case, the website seems to have disappeared altogether. Since the previous website was totally useless, you could say that nothing much has changed.

Though the parlour isn't my cup of tea, the web site for Monrose is very well done - I'm impressed. It should be an example to the other parlours on how to promote and present their services online.

Yep apologies fattim - I saw the site in same name/layout as monrose oldham ( as was), didn't even notice it was Eccles.
Agree with others the site is quite well done, though pics a little inconsistent

Yep, OK. The site seems to have everything a visitor would want to know; prices, rota, phone number, address of venue, a gallery of the girls and another of the rooms. Assuming the photos are accurate, it q pretty good website

Could I please ask you to post this on a separate thread, as it has nothing to do with this one, which, I will repeat, is about the quality (or more usually the total lack of it) to be found in the websites of Manchester parlours. The Chinese place that used to be where Monrose is on Liverpool road didn't move; it shut down. I think the girls were not really legal (supposed to be students or tourist) - but they had a fairly nice website.

Another good website has bitten the dust: Samantha's, which moved to Chorlton in the Autumn, was raided by the police just before Christmas and shut down.
The Roses Retreat website suggests that one of the girls is working there. But I have no idea how accurate or up-to-date their website is.

There was a place called Chelsea's this place closed

The same premises where run by a chinese crewe possible of trihad decent & the girls seem to come and work like 3-6 week & all seemed petite 18-20 & all had a bush
so probably student travel visa & kept bush for public bath houses when they return home to china (never noticed any ear cuts)
This place moved prior to the trafficking laws changed in 2010

The place was run by lancs massage chain for a while prior to Monrose taking the premises over

Thai Shanook spa is still about & Crystal Main used to have oriental girls on a weekly bases but this place has been closed aswell

Looking a little  further afield. ..crewe parlours need to up there game ...and there websites brooklyns is ok...and I mean just ok...but Alicia's and Excell both have a website that to say the least are piss poor. .little or no real vent info..and little or no time attention or effort put into any quality or accuracy. ..yet this is there main tool to entice you in and relieve you of your money  ....seems like indipendant ladies work harder at advertising and parlours just take things for granted

 To be honest, if a parlour doesn't have photos of the girls, I won't be visiting.  Makes me think they've got something to hide i.e fat and old.
