Nope......but prices for everything else has ramped up a fair bit recently!
So lets look at a WG's expenditure
Hotels- They have definitely gone up recently
Beauty Products - E.g Hair care, make up etc etc - I would say these sort of stuff have slowly risen over the past 12 months (take a look at what we all spend on shaving products etc, prices have risen)
Clothes- Underwear - About 5% in the past 12 months i reckon if not more
Travel - Petrol is always on the rise, as is the increase in public transport e.g trains
Party Substances - Wouldnt be able to tell you but i dont know what a gram costs these days
I'm not saying WG's are living on the breadline because they are not! But i would say it is more a society problem then anything else.
Minimum wage has risen over the past couple of years a few times, but what always coincides with that? British gas raising there prices, shops and stores raising there prices, restaurants etc raising there prices.
Pretty much as soon as the new minimum wage kicks in, the people who are on minimum wage end up with less money then they would have had if minimum wage hadent gone up, because of EVERYTHING going up in htat time
