Had a nightmare getting to Ego when I saw Eva. I left the usual 50 minutes before my appointment and figured it would be the normal journey. Got to Bletchley with about 5 mins to go, as expected so as not to spend too long lurking in the car. However, all roads to Ego were closed due to some kind of festival. I wish the maid would have told me when I booked as I’m not a local and only know my normal route. I pulled over and rang up explaining the situation, the maid wasn’t very helpful and just told me a bunch of other roads to try, which I didn’t know. I ended up parking about 10 mins walk away and had to cut the appointment down from 60 mins to 30 mins. Ego could have done better here as surely I wasn’t the first punter to have the same problem! Anyway...mini rant over...
