Any reports or comments on good value for money overnight stays in Teeside area. good value for money, any help would be appreciated.

As for lasses...  I'm afraid Teesside is and always has been bit of a desert.
Shame cos few universities etc here & A1/A19 easy enough to drive - a few good lasses could make a mint.
