Whats a discreet hotel?

The Radisson, although expensive, is easy to use for the purpose of bringing an escort back to your room - assuming that's what you meant...

Blackwell in darlo, u can get to most rooms without having to go thru main reception area

The Campanile behind Washington services have a separate  block where the rooms are. If I remember rightly it was a key pad entry.

The swallow. Ghead. Last minute booking.com around 35 a night. Very basic room but very discrete hotel!

Just wanted to check on the campanile. Was looking for somewhere like this, would people be alright getting to a room without being challenged?

Thanks in advance

premier inns are always a good bet.  I stay in them all over the country, and have had 'visitors' in every one  :D
never been a problem

novotel's too, decent rooms in both

Thanks for that, looking for a hotel that would allow me to have a few visitors throughout the day though and where someone would be able to walk right up to the room so a hotel with a separate block with room would be great.

I wouldn't worry about it too much.  I dare say, whatever hotel you are in, the girl that is coming to visit will probably know it and know the layout and procedure - it's what they do after all!!

bear in mind that the staff in all these hotels, will be seeing dozens and dozens of new faces every single day wandering in and out so aren't likely to know who's a guest and who isn't

Well I'd be the girl who would be using the room haha  but thanks for your help

Yes it was a separate block with its own entrance. Just a single door on the end next to the car park so not far to walk. It led directly onto the corridor where the rooms are so no staff to go by. I even stayed in a Campanile in Runcorn where each room had its own entrance onto a covered walkway and you could park right outside. Seems to be the way this chain works.

oopsie!  my bad!

The suppositions till stands though!  For what it's worth, and if it's any use, the Novotel at Kingston Park would work, big an open reception area always loads of folks milling about and an easy walk through to the lifts and stairs.  Rooms are nice and big too

maybe, the thing to do, is just go have a look, wander in yourself and see how you feel wandering past reception!

There are quite a few hotels on the postcode - why not simply name the hotel?

Going back to the original thread the best way to deal with a hotel is to make a booking yourself. Meet the girl outside and then check in - she can stand near you. Makes you look like a couple
