If punters aren't going to read what's in reviews and just go by the positive count, that's their problem.  You can have reservations and still do a positive review.

I don't decide to go based on number of reviews an SP has had.  I read the most recent within the last 6 months to try to find consistency or tendency and state of mind of SP.

You missed the point - no one decides to go based on the number of (positive) reviews an SP has had.  The point is that an amber or red is an important way of bringing a potential punters attention to a qualification or warning. Punters want to know - by way of an amber or red - if there is a good reason not to book - like she offers grumpy service or does not offer half the stuff on her enjoys (see above).
