Author Topic: Which Reviews do you look at first? Positive/Neutral/Negative  (Read 1134 times)

I don't know if I'm alone in this, but if I'm just browsing the boards to see what has been happening, I'll tend to look mostly at the 'Negative' reviews as they seem to offer better stories. I'll only tend to look at the positive reviews if I am actually interested in seeing the girl and have found her by searching for her AW number (and then to see what services she gave).

Do you use the reviews differently?

Offline Herts_Outcaller

Similair. Look at reviews for the girl I'm planning to book. Might generally browse sometimes if it's a girl in my local area. If it's slightly further afield, I might click a positive review to see if it's worth the trip.

No hard and fast rule really

Offline tantraman

When browsing through Escort Reviews >> London, the primary thing that makes me click on a review is actually location, location, location. I more or less read any review that mentions North or Central London, irrespective of the rating.

Individual ratings are wholly subjective, as some of us are more demanding and discerning, whereas others of us are more easy-going and easily-pleased ... and we all well know that YMMV anyway with any WG at anytime ... but ratings are useful in aggregate, which is when I really look at them.

Offline marcello

I think the most read are the positive especially for new/trending girls.
I look at negatives before booking a girl (later in the customer journey  :lol:), but hardly read one when is published if I'm not interested in that particular WG at that time.

Offline Thecunninglinguist

Location for me. If l'm they are not in my punting catchment area. I don't bother. Good bad or indifferent. Unless of course the header is particularly interesting.

Offline leffe7

I tend to read them all, the negatives for obvious reasons and the positives to see if they're just fluff or not.

Offline lewisjones23

short on time - reds only

bit of time - reds and greens of WG I know the name of

plenty of time - red, green + neutral of most in the NW region

if booking a WG - every available report

always check report+ban log as well, find them hilarious and a great source of entertainment

Offline lewisjones23

also i’ll read reports from certain posters who i share a taste in WG with

None of those, for me I read the reviews within a set amount of miles. I can’t see the point of reading other reviews that are miles away.

Offline Widescreen

Location, especially if its a Negative and that is where I intend podging.

Offline GreyDave

When I serch for a girls reveiw as some of the indys travel about a bit the reveiws can be all over place  :D :D

Mostly I look for local cheapys and guys that i like their reveiw style  :hi:

Online WARSZAWA16

Tend to read most of them in my particular area/location. Of the view that you can never have too much information.

Offline Landscape

I view negatives first as they are most interesting to read then going onto the negatives if I have time. If there's a WG on AW that interests me then I do a search on here to see what turns up and then read what I can find on here on here starting with the most recent updates.

Offline PLeisure

Do you just read other peoples' reviews, or punt as well?

Offline the fitter

I read them all in my area, but I tend to focus on Neutral, and Negative, as one mans poison, is another mans meat.

Offline Corus Boy

Only the local ones unless I have a trip planned.

With the local ones I tend to start with those of least replies.

I'm finding that too many reviews are turning into debates, often about the reviewer than the girl.  I don't object to this as it is everyone's forum, but it doesn't interest me.

Offline JonasG

Any positives local to me or within reach in the London and South East forums. Or if it's a girl I've seen before positive, neutral or negative I'll click that to compare experiences.

The negatives mean nothing to me during general browsing tbh.

They are obviously vital to me when I see a profile I like on AW and then I search for her here and then the negatives come up.

Offline Fisherman

I tend to read the positives that catch my attention and use the negatives when checking up on a sp that interests me

Offline mrdiamond77

I look at all the reviews for my area from top down usually, regardless of the rating.

Location then positives.

Only really read a negative if it's someone I've seen or is on my HL.

Negative first. If they seem reasonable then positive.

mostly the negative or the ones I know. I generally agree with the negatives so I tend to trust the UKP rating

Offline delete

I tend to read them all to get a better idea of what to expect from a SP

sometimes the SP live up to expections and other times they don't which does leave me wondering why

All three equally as important... not in any particular order.
Banned reason: Misogynist who gets free bookings from agencies for pos reviews.

Mostly the positive, I find them more uplifting  :)

Positives usually... I am here looking for a good punt afterall. But I tend to think that negatives give the most useful info, as avoiding a bad punt is something I want to do if possible. Doesn't always work like that though. Sometimes opinions, preferences, or just, blind luck, varies.

Offline Avg_Joe

i'd read them all, and usually in posting time order.

sometimes i'll read the negative/neutral first and then see if in the positives there are any hint of the issures mentioned in the negatives.

more interesting question is, do you guys automatically blacklist off a negative review, and if so, after how many ? and have you ever hotlisted someone after reading a negative review ?

I don't AUTOMATICALLY blacklist a negative review. Why? -

(1) In this game YMMV;

(2) Punters have different tastes in SPs;

(3) Some SPs don't react well with some punters but they do with others;

(4) You cannot ignore the fact that some punters can be jerks whose attitude/lack of hygiene/boundary pushing/ etc. etc. could be responsible for what would have been a good punt going bad (although would never admit it).

I DO, however, pay attention to the following:

(1) unreliability;

(2) lying about age/services;

(3) multiple bad reviews for same WG with similar fact complaints.

Offline Militaryguy89

Location first. Then positives. For some reason I always avoid the neutrals

Offline theoldmaggot

Negative first and then take in consideration how long ago reviews have been posted

Any mention of violence, BB, blackmail or dodgy stuff I stick them straight on blacklist. Not worth the risk

Agree with all of this..... I generally look at Positives first then Nevatives if it’s a girl I’m about to try and book. Then may have a look at any AW reviews, but I’ve found them to be really unreliable.

Offline megaman

Only West Midlands ones and if it's a massage parlour one I normally read everyone good or bad. I sometimes read the Google reviews too, if you type in a parlour in bham that has a few Google reviews linked too there site with a star rating but I mostly read here, its all good information and always a good read too

Offline Ortame

Generally looking for Positives.
Will look at Neutral and Negatives if it has recognisable names who I have on my hotlist.
