On the basis that SC did mention her other wealthy punter, most burds who are good at marketing themselves might drop clues / info as to what they are doing. Showing punters that they are in demand. To ramp up some interest. There is a difference between doing this a bit & forever going on about it. Like some do - also on blogs etc
Only guessing but my take on it is that the OP is probably one of the sad punters in awe of the burd & suffering from a severe dose of EAS. And so SC might be thinking WTF are we gonna talk about for the rest of the evening with this 'difficult' punter ? And if not much in the other direction other than lurving drivel then time to direct the conversation. If only to prompt a reaction or coz she's bored. And easy to default to talking about yourself. We all do it
I think it equally probable that when on bookings with Mr Big in NYC [if he exists] SC referencing other punters doesn't happen anyway near as much, other than a brief mention. Or not mentioned at all / locations only etc. Better things for em both to be doing
In whatever situation it is, the person selling something puts in a different amount of effort depending on who is buying & the way the sales process develops. Naive to think it happens any other way - especially in our favourite sport. So some bell end love struck EAS bitten tosspot ain't gonna fare very well. Tough
