Hi guys, Annie here, lovely to meet you, although it's unfortunate to see how worked up some of you are getting.
A lot of you seem to be forgetting a couple of very simple facts:
This is my business - I can run it in whatever manner I choose; I'm free to raise/lower prices as I see fit (and just fyi, in case of a price adjustment happening after a booking has been scheduled, the original price that the booking was made at has and will be honoured every time).
Some of you seem to have a problem with my particular criteria for "at discretion" services - if they bother you, then there's a very simple solution: don't make a booking with me.
"At discretion" means I'm free to specify literally any criteria I wish in order to feel comfortable, safe and happy at my job; so if I wanted to state that I required you to wear a fluorescent green cowboy hat and abseil in through the hotel window before I went near you, I could (and holy shit, that would be fun!)
It's nice that you have a community here to share your gripes and opinions, (and clearly for people such as MrFishyFoo, who has made an average of 8 posts per day for the last 3 years, it's an important part of his life) but at this point I have to say it really sounds like a fair amount of sour grapes because some people don't like the fact that you can't get me to do absolutely anything you want just by waving some money in my general direction.
For the record, MrFishy was actually informed about my criteria for OWO during a phonecall, a fact that he seems to have conveniently forgotten. He also did not accuse me of "taking the piss" in the room as he claims. Unfortunately this boils down to a rather childish "he said/she said" kinda thing, but there you go.
That's why I now conduct almost all of my communication in written form through AW, to avoid further bickering and "misrememberings" from happening.
No-one's forcing you to "jump through hoops" - if you don't like my criteria for meeting, then take a deep breath, close the browser tab, and move on.
I'm fairly new to the industry, and I'm still figuring out what works best for me - you may or may not agree with some of my decisions, but the fact is that they're mine to make. I have my own reasons for setting the criteria that I do, and am perfectly ok with the fact that some people won't like them/will judge me for it - I'm sure you'll be able find someone more to your liking.
I've had some absolutely fantastic fun with quite a few lovely guys so far, and am looking forward to meeting a lot more of you in future!
