wasn't that the irony though, the "experts" determined a lot as road kill, followed by scavengers, most likely foxes, so they were already dead, and the foxes were cleaning up  :sarcastic:

Reading the evidence it’s actually surprising that they came to that conclusion. It’s happened over a wide area and has almost “ritualistic” aspect to these killings. They leave the head of the animal intact with a particular piece always missing. No animal can repeat that action over a wide area...unless they are getting smarter... Avg_Joe are you part of this cabal of intelligent foxes?

omg LOL...... i forgot what my avatar was, i was reading your post over and over thinking, wtf is this guy drinking at this time of the morning  :sarcastic: :sarcastic: :sarcastic:

I can understand the head being left, because from a scavengers point of view, there's no meat on it, nothing really to eat, birds would peck the eyes out sure.

As for eating specific parts, sure it's possible, just watch some of the attenborough wildlife programs, they're not as daft as you think, also, have you never put mixed seeds in a bird feeder, and watched a bird systematically sift through them as they are eating, discarding the ones they don't like, i had a small pile of one type of seeds in the garden one day, and wondered wtf was going on, next morning i watched a sparrow sitting there tossing all the yellow seeds to his side whilst eating the others  :unknown:

it's almsot like these two criminals, we might call them stupid, or dumb, but right now they have punters money, and are one step ahead of police and a whole fucking street ahead of the CPS

Sorry to hear it. This is why if I ever go punting I only take the punting phone a Nokia 216 so worth about £20 new and enough cash to cover the transaction plus £30 elsewhere ie jean pocket. No watch, no cards.

I've always imagined this might happen so I always keep an eye out. Some workers don't half pick the worst locations.

They might be associated with her or might be doing it because they know the spot.

Should tell the police if you haven't. Especially the gun. If not sooner or later someone might call their bluff and that could end up being a murder.

There should really be a guide for workers to help them choose better locations.

Dark Gable has reported the incident to the Police.

Although I wouldn’t recommend anyone challenging an armed robber, the gun may be  a converted “rebore” which although dangerous have a reputation of being hit and miss so to speak.

I’d say it’s more likely Punters would be Pistol whipped in a robbery for non compliance as supposed to Murder.

One point I feel all punters should be careful of is  wearing fine watches on Punts as Rolex thefts are rife on London, and Dark Gable said if he was wearing one the Robbers would’ve taken it

After going through the posts and some feedback, there does appear to be a consensus that she is associated to the perp. It's good to know there's a community on top of this stuff.

When people are doing something like that you have to assume the worst will happen if the police allow it to continue. Sooner or later something will happen like someone putting up more resistance than expected, people will panic and all hell will break lose.

Exactly this. I may occasionally have my smartphone  as well if I need to navigate, but it's not worth nicking as it's not a desirable brand. I don't wear watches anymore and usually just leave everything else at home or in my car if driving.
And any hint of dodginess and the punt gets cancelled. I'd rather get shitty texts and calls from a WG than be mugged or worse.

There was a gun involved. They should take that seriously at least even if not bothered about the punting aspect.

Same here, no wallet just my shit nokia brick phone and the correct money are all I carry, plus I don't wear jewellery / watches etc anyway. As a lone guy who is going to visit unknown stranger(s) in a hotel room or address with a decent amount of cash I am aware of my target potential so do as much as possible to minimise risk

Firstly, I want to say thank you to the OP for informing this forum about this incident, it must not have been an easy thing to do. I'm glad that the situation was not more serious and severe than it could have been.

This scenario has been my biggest punting fear for many, many years and I feel so fucking lucky and fortunate that this has never happened to me. If any of the regulars here can remember my posts in the past, I choose some of the cheapest and dodgiest punts available on AW, so the chances of this happening to me are quite high because of this.

I have not punted in awhile and reading this post is the cherry on top for my decision to quit the punting life, something that I have been considering for most of this year.

I've read half of the thread pages on this post and surprised to see many ask why you did not challenge them/fight back etc. but I don't think you know how you will react in this situation. Who knows, some of the many homicides in the capital this year could have possibly been punting related. Personally, my punting habit is deep associated with my total lack of self-esteem and suicidal tendencies and I probably would have stupidly tried to fight them, not for being a hero but the mode I am in when punting is one that is very chaotic and reckless. It makes me even more grateful that I haven't experienced a situation like this before and now, in a very different place (more positive mentally), I feel like this is a reason for me not to return to punts.

Recalling some dodgy punts I've had over the last few years, a few spring to mind. There was one on Askew Road earlier this year in which I was greeted at the door by a man with a scar across half of his face and the girl waiting halfway up the stairs. He was very scrawny and short, the opposite of me so I still entered and followed the girl to the top floor, with the guy entering the flat on the middle floor. After my punt the girl lead me down to the middle floor where the same guy walked me down to the street level, the middle floor flat door was open and there was about 6 or 7 guys playing cards and drinking. The man who escorted me from middle floor to street and visa versa was actually smiley and pleasant but this could have easily been a different situation.

I have punted in many council estates late at night and places that anyone with an ounce of common sense would have avoided. Estates in Croydon, Ilford, Walthomstow, Harrow, Hounslow, Brixton etc. but I actually never had any issues with these places, other than it looked dodgy. The punts were actually some of the best.

Forgot to add: I have never had a 'punting' phone and have always taken everything with me. Expensive phone, wallet with cards, cash, vape, weed etc. Reckless yes but like I have mentioned above my mental state in choosing to punt has never been in the place to think of being cautious.

There's a brothel I've been a few times in Harrow and Wealdstone that has a ridiculously dodgy way to enter. The flat is above a row of shops but to enter you have to go around the back and at night it is pitch black. I still did this and used my phone torch. Again, never had any issues here but it could have easily been different. I actually punted here in day time and at the back of the houses, there's burnt out cars and gangs hanging around which made me question my mental state even more for going previously at night time.

Most recently I nearly punted about 7 weeks ago with someone in a caravan/mobile home near Osterly. But once I approached it in the distance it was full of about 5 or 6 men standing outside, which could have been punters but again it was like another wake up call to what the fuck I am actually doing with my life. Just like reading the OP's post was.

Once again thank you for sharing and I hope all of you stay safe out there.

sometimes one does these things for the sheer `fuck off-ness`of it
(as Don Logan would say)

i've been there a few times
the sex is way down the list of reasons why

recently i've `acted up`with people who definitely are way out of my league if things went west
and after i say exactly the same

`what the fuck did I do that for?`

if i was in a stairwell with robbers with guns
i'd almost certainly escalate it
even though i'm not at all equipped to handle it

in some situations
i definitely have a screw loose

Cheers. Ha, seriously. Actually, I think it was a bit longer than 7 weeks ago, it was my last potential 'relapse' with punting and I am glad I did not go through with it. The novelty of her being in a mobile home was the lure, she was an ex-German porn star apparently. Can't remember her AW profile name but I had never U-turned from a punt as quickly as that before. I remember a similar woman actually hosting punts at a Warehouse in south London and it just makes me think of this OP. I believe they were both traps!

There are panic alarm apps for phones. Hit a button and they instantly call 999 to your location (or appropriate proxy), start streaming audio, location and visual data (just point and perp is now online), etc. Just don't bloody set it off by accident mid punt.

In most cases also lowest hanging fruit, give a bit of trouble they fuck off. Be careful though as it's not always so and desperation, etc will hit. Nothing more dangerous than a junkie on cold turkey that has it in their mind you've some cash to depart with or valuables they can fence quickly.

All of the above are just not an option when someone has a gun.
Granted, it may not be loaded, but are you really going to point a screaming phone at a man with a gun? Or a meat cleaver? Far too risky. Particularly when, as you say, desperate people do dangerous things. We now know this WG has recently become a mother, so her man has to put food on the table as his girl's pussy just belched a baby out and can't be expected to belch pound coins out too. That man in those circumstances, in my opinion, is far too dangerous.

What I have taken from OP's experience is the need to always be careful. I think a lot of us on here had let our guard down; complacency is a human tendency when one does the same thing over and over again without any adverse reactions. So that's changed.

In other news, the WG in question seems to have now removed her number from AW. Let's keep up the spam!

Possibly, I honestly can't remember her AW name. I did not see her, got about 30 feet away and turned back instantly. Did not even check on here as it was decided on a whim and she was quickly responsive to texts. Sounds like I had a great escape if she has a bad rep!

Let us also not rule out the idea that they may just be using a different profile with a different phone number and photos etc. Can easily make a few fake adultwork reviews (and UKP for that matter, though we have quite a few eagle eyed members who can weed them out) or could buy an old profile to keep the scam going.

Never let your guard down chaps. Too easy to become complacent. I've become far less security conscious since first starting my punting career and this thread has definitely woken me up

Yup. When punting phone started gathering dust - and particularly after they discovered this thread (I'd also be shocked if they weren't aware by now) one of the first solutions they would probably have thought up is to create a new profile.

Most definitely!

However, with all the information here this would not impact on the police investigation.

Having been caught up in a few non-related punting incidents. I know they are extremely stretched because of the lack of resources.

I do know if that he had been someone different, someone, of a much higher profile and/or say the crime had occurred in the City of London then things may have been different.

Fingers still crossed DG

Area saying central London. Anyone know if they're actually operating out of there now?
That could end up being the downfall of them, as my man Pete alluded to earlier-- if they did the same thing in certain local authority districts, the popo would almost certainly move more quickly.

She was showing as "Available Today" earlier.

No, I assumed the police were doing that :unknown:

I was advised not to contact her/them directly and not to do anything with the AW account.
I will chase up with the police over the next couple of days, everything seems to have fizzled out.

One thing I will say, is that we all expected it to be taken super seriously due to the firearm. However it may not have been a real gun and either way no shots were fired which will reduce the severity of the crime from the police perspective.

A sting operation would be nice but I think we've all watched too many movies

I am really surprised to see that the profile is still up on Aw.

it is also very odd that there were good reviews here on UKP at one stage and AW

One thing that I have observed is that the Aw profiles change hands. The original girl, maybe has an OK reputation, with some good reviews, and this makes it worth good money, maybe £500 (so I hear). So when the girl retires, or goes back home, etc, it gets sold on. The new owner changes the photos, sometimes the main name, sometimes re-write it, or just do nothing. Of course this breaks the AW rules, but even if it is re-verified with new girl, the profile ALWAYS keeps the same ID number, and is therefore linked to UKP and keeps the original AW reviews, etc. Basically there is no way you can tell if an AW profile with the good reviews is going to be the same girl when you get there! I guess sometimes it may be just a bunch of robbers!

I guess some-one is going to ask, how come you know so much Mr Tiger? - Simple - I know how AW works - I know how people work.

the irony of that slightly arrogant sign off of a statement is that you are very wrong in this instance

the pics belong to the girl (proven as there are social media pics of her with her name everyting)
the number that WAS there used to be used by the girl for bookings and now is a honey trap
to keep up appearances i would guess the profile is active from everyting like changing the wording of it to responding to emails
the robber is the girls boy friend (as identified by 2 people that have been robbed him via social media)

i knows 30 pages is a lot to get through... but that last sweeping statement of yours probably only gets made after reading all 30 pages and having hard proof to counter whats been said already

Let's just hope wherever she and her accomplices re-surface they finally get their comeuppance and what's coming to them there. If it is to be Glasgow surely the police there can't possibly be as lackadaisical as they appear to have been in London.

AW has its flaws, but one thing that is great is the profile link format .com/123456 in addition to .com/username. We can keep track in situations such as this.

I'm inclined to believe that:
1) They are not aware of this thread. &
2) The popo haven't been in contact with her or any of the associates.
I can't see how they wouldn't be onto a new profile by now if either of those were not the case.

Glasgow! Fucking hell.
Her number appears on AW when she's available. It's the same we have on here.
Let's keep spamming her.

As advised by the police I can't say anything openly on the forum at the moment. I'll say that just when I had basically given up hope, there have been some very positive developments over the past day and a bit :drinks:

Fingers crossed all goes well and the scum are banged up or hard stopped.

How are you coping in the aftermath?  Successfully back in the saddle yet?

I am really surprised to see that the profile is still up on Aw.

it is also very odd that there were good reviews here on UKP at one stage and AW

I remember when I was a noob leech, I visited a few WG with only 1-2 positives on here, got B&S both times, the reviewers were very flattering. But it was almost comedic irony in that everything they said was in fact the opposite, 1st girl was a meth head in a dirty flat, they claimed she was a beautiful EE in a very clean flat. Another one was a potential scam similar to DG, when I arrived someone said they wanted to see my face, and let me in. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, in that she just wanted to see if she was comfortable seeing me, but it could of been a way to see if they want to use me as a ‘mark’ and wanted to see my face for personal reasons to see if they’d be comfortable doing it to me. But I don’t know much about these things, so I could be reading too much into it.

Can’t remember names or links, so can’t post a review unfortunately.

Will you be able to update us fully at any point soon? Of course I understand the need to keep it to yourself but I’m very curious

I'm doing okay for the most part, I feel good just more cautious in areas I'm unfamiliar with. I was back in the saddle 2 days after the robbery
However I stuck to WGs I had seen before for a little while, all at locations I found to be discrete/chilled/safe.  It took me 3 weeks or so before I tried a new WG.
