Falling standards - Rising prices.

Just an observation from looking at the Yorkshire Review page. There seem to be a hell of a lot of negative and neutral reviews at the moment.  At a time when we're seeing prices creeping up and up, are standards slipping just as we see prices increasing?

Yes, I think there is more confidence in sharing on ukp nowadays.

Having said that, I do find the price rises very unpalatable... So much so, I won't pay it

Prices go up and soon as the phones start gathering dust they will come back down.

Even the pump and dump Ee's have gone from £40 to £50 for a quickie..

Too broad opinion. Let's look at the reviews, a large number seem to be "massage only", a few are parlours and a large number are no shows or walk outs. If you look at any member with more than 10 reviews, how many are positive, if they are lucky just over half or more. Nothing has changed, what I do object to is some price increases have meant I won't see a girl now.

I simply saw the sheer number of red and grey reviews and it seemed to be a lot higher than in the past.

It could well be. I think it is pretty much the same, other regions have far more reds London being one.

I think maybe because of the price rises punters are going towards massages/and rub and tub places to save money especially if they can't afford the prices out there ..

You could be right. I've looked at some rub and tug, but I don't think they offer good value as I prefer full penetration, most are the same per hour anyway.

I did wonder a while back wouldn't it be handy if you had a +ve/-ve review stat for punters. The downside is having a more negative overall being seen as better quality reviews and people forcing negs. I agree with your point though, if somebody has a number of reviews and there are very few negatives I often feel inclined to dismiss them all.

I think of my own reviews something like 25-30% are negative but that doesn't really reflect my punting experience. The better ones get 2 or 3 visits, sometimes more, while the bad ones will just get the 1. I've seen some of the most reviewed girls in the region with well into double digit reviews - there is no point reviewing them and I have nothing much to add, or I feel tagging comments onto somebody else's review is adequate.

The trouble with having some kind of stat showing the positive vs negative ratio is that some punters will only ever play it safe. They'll only see the forum favourites so it's less likely that they'd have a bad punt. Others like to try new girls and aren't averse to taking risks. Experience tells us that they would have a far worse ratio score.... but in reality they are more help to us because they review the girls we haven't seen.

I only have 13 reviews. I think I counted 60% wholly positive by excluding neutral and negative. I think out all the girls I've seen, but not reviewed (due to them being historic), I think it would still be about the same. I rarely see a girl more than once, in the past I've seen Luna 3 times and Gemma @ GFE twice who was really mardy the second time. Second time around I just don't think it will be as good as the first as thing are sort of familiar.

50/50 on 2nd visits in my experience. I think part of it is that with a first visit there's always a surprise element, and if it's better than you expected you are happy. The 2nd visit your expectations are so much higher and it rarely matches it. There are 2 girls I've seen 7 or 8 times and they were good solid punts, but didn't really have the magic of the first visits. Also a bit of a routine like you say, and in 1 occasion just more familiarity than I wanted.

There's someone I want to see again, but I think I'm going to wait until next year and see how I feel. I've still got around 10 girls I'm hoping to see before the end of the year.

Right now I've probably got 4 girls on my radar for a visit. 3 I've seen before but 2 of those were well over a year ago so I guess it's due time for a return. The last couple of punts haven't been the best so I feel I need something reliable.
