Just interested... has anyone exchanged real ID's with WG's you've met?

Depends on the reason behind exchanging IDs and whether it's initiated by you or the WG.
I've had some WGs share their true identity without me feeling the need to reciprocate. I've also given my ID to a couple of WGs I trusted with whom I was a regular. Most bizarre example was when I left her my passport to apply for a foreign visa. By coincidence, she was applying for one to the same country, and agreed to drop mine off at the Embassy.

the whore could lead a very 'dodgy' lifestyle have 'dodgy' associates etc all completely unknown to you
they maybe all overflowing with sweetness and make you feel all special but plenty of evidence has shown that there is definitely a darker side to numerous whores out there

exchange real details at your own risk ,i certainly wouldn't recommend it

sure not all pro$$ie's have evil intent but why take the risk

,also what is the whore willing to do for you outside of punting!

Did a crazy thing last year - took a wg abroad on a work trip. Had to keep her hidden in my room, avoid her in public spaces... I bought her the flight, so I insisted she send me a scan of her passport. She wanted me to transfer the taxi money to the airport - which I did from my account.
HUGE risks all round!

I’m not recommending taking risks... but in this case I had a gut feeling it would be good and I was right.

I took one of my favourite WG for a weekend in Bath at a posh hotel. The hotel put all guest names on their bedroom door (not very discrete) - fortunately I'd used her real name, not her porn name lol.

lucky it worked out for you positively.. could of easily gone the other way and backfired..

There is always a risk. How much can you ever trust a stranger? Or maybe she's the sweetest girl now, but might resort to blackmail if she becomes skint in the future? Or maybe she's the most honest person on the planet, but a dodgy friend or boyfriend or relative of hers gets access to her records with clients' names (eg banking statements with bank transfers) and decides to blackmail them?

In fairness, I have always wondered if those who book long dates, especially trips, need to exchange details. If you have to pay a WG thousands of pounds do you do it cash (anonymous but inconvenient) or with a bank transfer (convenient but you'd know each other's names, and leave a trail). When you check in at a hotel, do you check in separately? In many countries a passport is required to check in, and employees will typically say your name: Mr Doe and Ms Whatever, welcome to our hotel! Etc.

Of the 70 or so SPs I've seen in 16 years only two know both my real name and my address as both have been to Pokeyacres for an outcall.

Most know my first name and a smaller number also know my town name.

The two outcalls were with girls I know very well and trust completely.

Generally I am very, very cautious about these matters.

No - but a couple of the WG's I have seen in the past worked from their real home and seemed very relaxed about leaving post laying about, having family pictures on display etc. Also had a girl about 3 years ago show me her passport to prove her age, to demonstrate she was really 40 rather than her stated AW age of 28)

i have never done an outcall to my place and never will nor have I ever shared my real details with a WG and never will. Even though I don't have a OH to worry about, why risk it if you don't need to? Like Uncle Pokey above (and others) I am very cautious about these matters too.

But gut instinct turned out to be good in this case.

I started out cautious. I have become more cautious.

Two girls, who are very well known on here, both independently told me their "real" names with an obvious invitation I should tell them mine. One went further, told me about her life outside, asked about my job and other details which would have certainly compromised my anonymity. Both of them have....ahem...interesting aggregates, one in particular that seems positive for the looks, service and value on offer. A particular punter who championed both of them here was subject to a public threat of being outed a few years back. I have included specific warnings in recent reviews.

Beyond this, as I have said before, on my most recent and last ever outcall I found a used syringe in the bathroom after the punt.

Yes, these girls are a very sobering example.
Had a fantastic time with one - she was very open (verbally and sexually) and I know her real name (she doesn’t know mine) and if it wasn’t for the info on her here I might have seen her again... thanks to UKP I didn’t.

I have exchanged some details with a WG before. She has my "real" phone number as opposed to my punting one. She doesn't have my personal email though. I know some of her personal info too.

I think this sort of exchange does build a bit of trust which always adds to the good vibes of a meet.

Precisely. Punters typically have more to lose than WGs. Many show their face or give their name, eg by inviting punters to pay by bank transfer, which suggests they are not too obsessed about privacy.

To be fair I think it's risky for the girls to give out their names, too, because they might not care now, but what if in a few years time they have another job in which being outed would be an issue, or. If they have children and obviously don't want them to know about their past?

Although I wouldn't put it quite so coursely as "fucking a girl". But i do agree on the dynamic of trust and openness with a lady with whom you feel a connection and an element of trust. Call it fluffy if you like, I'll take it on the chin.

On the flip side I fully understand the view of JonasG et al.; however for me personally, this is not a numbers game and I'm very much a "loyal to one lady" kind of guy.

This is one of those things with a very low probability of causing a complete cluster fuck. 99.99% of the times it will be fine, but 0.01% of the times it will be disastrous, with the potential to cause a punter to lose his job, get divorced, lose half his assets, children will despise him, etc.
