Bann Sakunee - slim pickings in Cardiff Thai massage

My first time here yesterday

No wonder I couldn't find it on previous attempts   it is tucked away under a block of flats opposite Novotel

I had already been to the sister shop in Churchill way earlier on and they were short staffed with only a couple of women running around trying to service a number of demanding customers they had put in various rooms.   

So I took a taxi to the bay one

I was greeted by two very jolly and rotund women of around 50.  Very welcoming but the question on my mind was where are your 21 year old daughters?
There's a distinct lack of younger masseuses in Cardiff at the moment. Maybe the establishments aren't bothered to advertise for new staff in case they upset the current ones . The Whitchurch road places are also have the same staff and rarely a new face. I do miss the place  in Penarth when it was still going   it was seedy but interesting with new faces popping up amongst their regular girls

At Ban sakunee yesterday They were pleasant ladies and I had a massage but the overall experience was not exactly  worth taking a half day off work

Also no shower!! Walking out still Covered in massage oil   LOL

The reason not finding young Thai ladies are due to home office not issuing work permit or visa.
The remaining crew and the final batch was allowed into the country like 10-20 years ago.

If you want better choice and young Thai girls then a trip to Thailand is needed. LOL.

It doesn’t prevent Coco in Newport having a turnover of new young girls albeit they’re Chinese.

With regards to the OP and no shower available from the shop then I think that’s disgusting especially in this heat. One of the questions I always ask is about showers being available!

It's so hit and miss this place, still better than marigold. Went there a few months ago and they sent Simone over from the centre shop.
