This is my first review and I am catching up with several punts that I have had recently.
Relatively recently I thought I would pay a visit to Royal Thai Orchid in Cheltenham.
I called and booked in advance for a four hand massage for the following day.
I arrived at the appointed time, 1st floor above the cheese shop, the entrance is innocuous and without risk, on arrival I was informed that four hand was not available. At this point I should have turned and walked as I actually was looking for my first four hand massage.
I accepted the standard massage instead and we proceeded to the room, the masseuse was not particularly attractive, usual formalities dealt with and I was then up on the bed awaiting the massage to start. I received a rather disappointing massage, at one point the masseuse was trying to work knots that were actually bone. Lots of comments about how big and strong I am and questions about whether I work out, I am not fat but I am definitely not fit enough to be thought of as someone who works out.
"Reach unders" and swipes were plentiful. So it was no surprise when HR was offered. I asked the price (£20) and whether anything else was available and was informed topless for additional £20 and next time lots more on offer as they couldn't give me the four hand I booked. I am fairly certain that nothing further would be available.
HR was accepted and happened after about 40mins, the massage then resumed. While sitting up the masseuse disappeared for several minutes when some giggling occurred in the outer room, then a different lady came in and continued my shoulders and neck for several minutes. This lady was infinitely more attractive and much better at massage.
I was then offered a shower for the oil.
This is a neutral because while I did not get the four hand massage I booked and the quality of the massage was poor, I did receive adequate HR. I am unlikely to return in future.
I paid £45 massage + £20HR,
