as an sp 10 to 15 mins which alot of clients i see use i think aswell after 15 mins fuck it hes not showing unless hes told me he is running late radio silence pisses me off

But even then I have had situations where the punt doesn't happen due to lack of comms from the WG

The worst is you make a booking and it is "Scheduled" that is neither here nor there - and you are left in limbo!

Patience as always, look on the bright side, you will be in anticipation of a punt, or do the neg review if nothing happens!

To balance that, you should confirm with the WG that you are still coming a couple of hours prior to a booking and contact them timely if you need to cancel or running late - silence is not an option!

All the punter needs is a confirmed time and an address, not what AW says.  I prefer to keep everything outside AW and on the phone.

That is right but IMO listing it as just "scheduled" sends a slightly worrying/poor message to the punter (or at least the ones who know about such stuff) because when they just list it as scheduled, they can still leave you proper feedback (e.g. a negative) but you can't leave them any (only "feedback only"), unless they confirm the booking (which they certainly won't do if they give you a negative). I have had a WG schedule a booking and then proceed to leave me a negative due to her own shit comms. To be fair though, most of the "scheduled" bookings I've had have been fine. Still, it always makes me think they do it because they're likely to have issues or pull out and don't want to risk getting any "proper" negative feedback. As HH says, it still seems like a kind of limbo.

Anyway, I can totally empathise with OP, it happens quite a lot to me and is very annoying (although they usually do eventually reply but the long wait is often worrying).

Totally agree, by highlighting this practice, perhaps WG's will think again about asking for a deposit the second time!

It works both ways - having it confirmed means both parties can leave feedback which seems pretty fair. However I agree with you texting to confirm (I always do that anyway regardless of AW booking status) and if you only "schedule" people with no/little feedback then I think that's fairly reasonable too (and they probably won't know the difference between scheduled and confirmed anyway).

What i mean is as soon as its clicked confirm you cant unvclick it like you could in passed as confirmed a girl i know got a shed load of crap as feedback from a no show

Having both parties able to leave feedback is fair. The negative feedback you received (especially if you disputed it and sounded vaguely reasonable) will have done absolutely fuck all to your reputation/bookings, whereas any negative feedback you leave for a punter will have a much bigger impact on their ability to get bookings (although of course they have ways round it too).
