If only everyone followed that kind of etiquette I bet things would go a lot smoother- for both clients and wg
lining up a punt for next week, I am being asked to give a deposit - as the WG has so many "would be punters" not showing!
Now we all go - oh dear that sounds like a scam!
But it is a WG I have seen once before and because I took the risk previously (paying a deposit), then I am reasonably assured that all will go well.
The consequence of my deposit is that the booking is confirmed.
If it is a scam, at least I could write on AW feedback and on here a negative review/feedback.
I appreciate that in the first instance, paying a deposit is a risk, but isn't punting a risk anyway?
