Think it madness going to a brothel over here in the current environment. They might turn a blind eye to single working girls but houses with a revolving door and all the connotations re trafficking... I’ll pass

A qirl who worked in that location is still advertising on Vivastreet - still there with a "Highlight" banner on her ad.

I am not sure how you identify a 'brothel'.
Maybe avoid inner-city residential streets?

Any suggestions?

I don’t really know. I don’t like houses that I know from experience are multi bedroom houses in student areas. Especially if when you are in there are a load of closed doors. Usually expect a closed door with tv on to mean protection if the punter turns nasty.

Some guys have talked about the same address being used for different girls. That would be a red flag for me.

A local accent for a foreign girl is another flag for me.

I'm puzzled by this.  Do you mean a girl who is not white Caucasian but has a Belfast accent? If so, why is this a red flag?  Wouldn't it be more of a potential trafficking issue if she spoke no/v little English?

Nah I mean ringing up and getting a thick/heavy Belfast accent then turning up and it’s an Eastern European girl with barely any English not up for what has been agreed on the phone. To me that scenario would scream brothel or trafficked.

Limited phone English to me screams independent as Sergei wouldn’t allowed punts to fall by the wayside due to language issues.

I see what you mean - basically, someone who doesn't sound like the person you spoke to.  Thanks for the clarification

Forgive my naive question but is it true that it is perfectly ok if there is just one lady in the house?

Not in Northern Ireland as it is illegal to buy sex now.

On the mainland it’s basically ok as long as it isn’t a brothel or that’s always been my understanding of it. A brothel being considered to be two or more working girls in the same house.

must be difficult to prove anything if there is just one guy and one lady together in a room? (Unless police actually see cash being handed over)
