Nice of him to ‘narrow it down’
... one would suppose he’s going to whizz through the whole of Germany Netherlands and Belgium, with an enclopedic dissection of each town and city in each country tucked under his arm that he won’t have read. Or maybe he just knows that this is a public service with a back office of civil servants whose job it is to answer every casual enquiry just for practice — yes that’s it, he’s kindly giving us a practice exercise in assembling information. I can think of lots of worse scenarios but I thought I’d be positive.
