In reply to Lizzie:
We do indeed get reminders to leave feedback, though I always thought it would be good form for the SP to leave feedback first so the client can be honest without fear of a negative in retaliation
I can see that point of view. Although to me it can come across as fishing for good feedback in return.
Btw, thanks for the info on AW site from the SP perspective, very informative.
I dislike fishing, whether it’s Amazon, app developers or prossies. Too much like “Hey, you didn’t feel self-motivated enough to give me a glowing review, so let me annoy the fuck out of you by asking for compliments”. Duh!!
If you need some positive feedback why piss someone off. If a punt has gone well, and I need some feedback topped up in order to have some ‘recents’, then at the end of an AW punt I might see how she feels about it by saying something like “I don’t for one minute necessarily believe AW feedbacks, too many fakes, but it can be a nice gesture to leave each other feedback — just something ordinary, like ‘had a nice time’ — is that good with you?”
See what she says. If she’s not obviously happy about it, forget it. Another prossie will come along. If she does, as mentioned by one of our member prossies, let her fulfil her side of the bargain first and then fulfil yours. Safety and politeness. That’s all.
