Author Topic: What does a WG see about my AdultWork profile?  (Read 4712 times)

Pat

I have just had a quick flick through your back catalogue and I am pretty sure you have been here before.

Sorry - I question your authenticity; for someone concerned to remain anonymous it seems to me you are going to a lot of effort to draw attention to yourself.

This is the only UKP membership I've had.

But you're right that I am over sharing. I'll try to keep it to myself going forward.

What can a WG see on a RB?
Just the reverse booking itself and the number of bids. We can't see which girls have actually bid (which is a shame).
Reverse bookings are very useful and I've blocked many guys because of their RBs.

Why have you blocked many guys because of their RBs?

I don't specifically ask for no feedback, but have received it from some WG's even though I have not left feedback for them first.

I find it annoying because then I'm less likely to post a review here on UKP. I believe the more that the WG's listed under my reviews match those listed on my AW feedback the easier it could become for someone nosey to link my AW profile to my UKP profile. Although thankfully negative experiences don't usually rush to leave AW feedback. (It's especially annoying when I've prepared a review while it's still fresh in my memory, ready to post at a later date, then a couple of weeks later the WG pops up on my AW feedback.)

I'm assuming SP's also get reminders when they log into the AW website if they have a confirmed booking that they have not left feedback against?

We do indeed get reminders to leave feedback, though I always thought it would be good form for the SP to leave feedback first so the client can be honest without fear of a negative in retaliation

What can a WG see on a RB?

We can search by the following criteria:

My Gender
My Age
Meet Date (from & to)
Calling (Incall Outcall Either)
Hourly Rate (from & to)
Within Range of Postcode

Then we get a list of all the RBs that we meet the criteria of and which meets our criteria.

Each result shows us:

Gender sought
Age sought
Location and first part of the postcode
Meeting date
Name of the client
Duration and maximum payment
Number of bids (though no info on who has bid)

And we can click the result to see more info as per the pic below where there is a link to the client's profile and feedback

Can you see if a certain member is currently logged into Adultwork? Or, can you see or search for members currently logged in (not necessarily ones who you have met before / messaged you or even on your hot list, eg. Just how like you can see the current members logged into UKP at the bottom)?

Lots of bareback requests in RBs so I block those. I'd say 30 - 40% ask for it.

I'm surpised at the number of BB requests and Pippa said 90%. I dont understand why they think thats a clever thing to do. I wonder what sort of success rate they get. Bit of a worry they get any takers at all.  :scare: :scare:

Must have a high success rate otherwise they wouldn't  bother.

Out of the ten I just looked at, 6wanted bb. Another didn't mind if the wg used a condom or not.
Maths isnt my strongest point.

I most here with 10+ reviews have reviewed secret barebacking escorts.

This is unfortunately probably true. I certainly became aware of at least one sly barebacked after joining UKP. I suspect the RBs are about getting the sly BBs to bid, then they don’t need to ask for things not on the likes list. Why anyone would take the risk is beyond me  :unknown:

VW,

Sorry to ask, but not quite sure what you mean by your comment?

Thanks that's very useful. I always wondered how WGs know which ones to look at.

I haven't or at least not knowingly.

I haven't or at least not knowingly.

I think that’s the point. Chances are you have. You just don’t know it...

Offline Marmalade

Funny... after they get all that information, a majority (in my experience) of RB replies will be completely outside the requested spec.  :dash:

Some ‘SP’s’ clearly just spam every fucking RB in the hope that, in spite of what the punter wants and at a stated price, they hope that somehow he will accept something entirely different that they’re offering, that bears little or no similarity to the RB request, and at price in excess of what he’s prepared to pay.

We can search Service Seekers through the client connections part of the website, either by username or by criteria below.

We can also see a list of users who are currently online, who are camming right now and who have just joined up.

I can see right now there are 1133 male service seekers online and 7 female service seekers.

The more I look into this for you guys, the more my mind boggles

No problem, I don't know why they allow the SP to amend their age on the search (or at all for that matter!  :bomb: ) but I imagine there will be SPs who use that to sidestep the Seekers requirements

Hats off to Lizzie for posting the info.   :drinks:

(And I say that without judging how useful it is or — I’m sure many want to see that stuff.)

Appropriate to mention though I think the general consensus of advice on this forum to punters has been to turn off client connections if you haven’t disabled it already. Otherwise the concern has been fuckwit prossies who use it to target punters with messages. (Probably not something a decent minded prossie would even think of going.)

I’ve not kept up with the Client Connections saga — it just rang the big dodgy-as-fuck alarm bell as soon as I saw it.

I would agree about turning off Client Connections, I can't see any good coming from that feature tbh thoughI hope it's more obvious to guys on your side than it is on our side.

For us it's buried in amongst features that have been discontinued or never worked so maybe it's going to be scrapped anyway

I can see that point of view. Although to me it can come across as fishing for good feedback in return.

Btw, thanks for the info on AW site from the SP perspective, very informative.

I dislike fishing, whether it’s Amazon, app developers or prossies. Too much like “Hey, you didn’t feel self-motivated enough to give me a glowing review, so let me annoy the fuck out of you by asking for compliments”. Duh!!

If you need some positive feedback why piss someone off. If a punt has gone well, and I need some feedback topped up in order to have some ‘recents’, then at the end of an AW punt I might see how she feels about it by saying something like “I don’t for one minute necessarily believe AW feedbacks, too many fakes, but it can be a nice gesture to leave each other feedback — just something ordinary, like ‘had a nice time’ — is that good with you?”

See what she says. If she’s not obviously happy about it, forget it. Another prossie will come along. If she does, as mentioned by one of our member prossies, let her fulfil her side of the bargain first and then fulfil yours. Safety and politeness. That’s all.
