The urge for a punt took over me on Monday but as is the case more and more these days I struggle to find any suitable ladies to visit. All of my Plan A's and Plan B's were either unavailable or non-communicative so I start checking profiles of ladies from the bottom drawer of my hot list.

I make contact with one lady who gives me her address but after driving round for 20 mins in town centre traffic I still couldn't find her flat (neither could my friend Google Satnav) nor did the lady seem particularly bothered about seeing me either !

Whilst sat in the car debating whether I should abandon I get a message from one of the ladies I had texted earlier in the day suggesting she might be available but then it takes her 15 minutes to reply to my text messages by which time I'm getting dangerously close to rush hour traffic. I decided to abandon my plans, went home, had a wank and realised WTF did I not do that in the first place !!

The hassle of having a shower, a shave, driving to the cash machine, driving to the punt, navigating traffic when sometime all I really need is a box of Kleenex !

I use the same tactics if I feel the urge for a random punt coming on. Anyone I see now has to be carefully researched. Another tip. Get rid of the bottom of your HL then you aren't tempted. My HL only contains 5 girls.....all of whom are plan A*!

I can totally relate to the OP. I'm increasingly finding that I'm spending an inordinate amount of time arranging punts, only to be met with silence (during comms or even worse, when I arrive), very patchy comms, timewasters or cancellations!

While the 40-50 pounds parlours are good vfm. I do find myself shagging 40 something women that are sometimes a little world weary.

While i enjoy the ramp up to a punt afterwards i feel WTF ?
Higher quality girls tend to need exceptionally more time and money and your still not guaranteed a good time

Can totally relate to OP and many of the comments on here. It’s why communication is so very important. My time is very precious and I can’t just be made to wait hours on end. I now choose to give money to those WG’s who have good communication skills. A disorganised WG is usually one who offers a poor service (not generalising)

I'm with you Nigel. Havent been out for 6 weeks now. I was supposed to be seeing Rachel 3 weeks ago but she cancelled at less than
24 hours notice and I've really lost heart in punting. I still look but I seem to have reverted back to the porn. So much easier and a lot cheaper.
It can take me 3 hours+ to find a punt and you phone up and they cant see you, dont pick up, they've moved or you get there and its B&S etc and thats like half a day gone so yes I'm losing the will and I wont be punting for at least another 4 weeks as well.

It's definitely an interesting idea and it sounds good at first glance but unfortunately I think it would do very little and the proof of that is the sheer volume of positive feedback on AW, even for overpriced WGs and that's of course just the tip of the iceberg (as that won't represent anywhere near all their bookings).

I think the best idea was a happy medium - Tonotber. That way you can still punt but you don't spend too much and you reward the good WGs who are reasonably priced while encouraging the others to become more competitive.

Although don't underestimate how many of them couldn't even hold down a job in Tesco. A fairly small but not insignificant number of WGs are very disorganised and lacking any sort of punctuality.

It always surprises me when they don't bother to reply to messages. If they took that long to reply to their zero hour contacts they'd never get any work! Considering I'm usually offering to pay at least what they'd make in a full day for only 30 mins/an hour's work you'd think they'd reply almost instantly. To be fair, many are quick but a shocking number aren't or don't even bother to reply or even worse are really patchy with their comms (almost leading you on) and even worse than that - when they agree to meet and then no show you. If they did that in a normal job they'd very quickly be fired - especially with the bullshit excuses they usually come out with (that's if they even bother giving you one).

Leeds is still better than a lot of other cities, including bigger ones like Birmingham! Although it's not as good as it used to be (or Manchester) and of course it doesn't seem like it would take long at all to get through all the good WGs in Leeds so I can certainly empathise.

I prefer to build a semblance of a rapport with a WG before I see her and even a trace of a personality in a text exchange and I'm ready to get in the car. I'm realistic enough to know that WG's can't do that with every guy as they get a lot of wankers (literally) contacting them but I do find abrupt replies to questions tend to put me off the punt.

I'd never want to send an unsolicited text when the client was sat at home next to his wife. My phone is turned off on the days I'm not working as it would be inevitably 'tricky' explaining my two phones when I'm with family, so even when I have received a polite enquiring text message, often I won't reply because I wouldn't want to cause him trouble. I am aware that this may send out the message that I am ignorant. I am not, but I always presume he will try again if he wants an appointment.

Is there a way around this, in your opinion? Do I send a message simply saying 'Sorry I missed your call' or 'apologies for late reply'? Or do I do nothing? If only a short amount of time has lapsed between the client sending the text and me actually seeing it (perhaps I've been on a booking and I would never dream of checking phone during that time), then I will invite client to call or text me back but if it is a considerable amount of time, day even, I tend to delete them, thinking crap, I've perhaps missed a real gent there but it's my loss, but what else can I do?

Would appreciate your view on this scenario. To reiterate what Sir Wanksalot has said too, I would welcome a brief text or phone exchange to gauge a vibe for the client, and for him to gain a feel for me.

Yes, I'm pretty much the opposite (primarily because I don't really care but also because I don't want to come across as a timewaster/wanker). However I do almost always try to call them and this allows me to gauge their responses. I'm rather direct and don't seek to find out anything personality wise but I do judge their attitude and friendliness by what they say and their tone of voice. I have no strong feelings about what they sound like in their texts (even if they're abrupt), in part because of the reasons VOLPONE has listed (i.e. you could be talking to a pimp or maid etc).

I was actually mainly referring to AW messages (I know I didn't make that clear). I don't really have many issues with not getting replies to texts (although of course not everyone replies). I also tend not to send many texts (I usually try calling again) because I don't want to make "false enquiries" - by that I mean I don't really wait for a reply (because I have no idea how long I'll be waiting) before I move on to the next girl so I try to avoid texting in the first place to avoid having to "rescind" my enquiry if she replies later. You raise a good point though - one that I always bloody forget! I don't know exactly where you currently draw the line between replying and not replying and to be honest I don't really have much of an idea where you should draw it. If they were put off by the lack of a reply then in the future using the "available today" sign on your profile is probably a good way of encouraging them to contact you again.

Tbh I think you're right that I don't think many clients at all read all my profile. I'm forever answering questions either via text or over the phone, the answers to which are stated. It used to piss me off (although I'd remain friendly and professional, though I guess my admittance of that reveals my human side after all - though I'm mainly referring to the guys who would ask what I charged or did I do anal, these I presume are time wasters, since you have to scroll past the pricing to get the phone number!) but I have come to expect it now. Men are fundamentally visual creatures, so a quick look at the pictures and price and if I'm their cup of tea, they'll call. And to be fair it is a ridiculously extensive profile so I guess it's a lot to expect everyone to read every inch. I've been criticised before for my lengthy profile. I just feel that for the ones that do wish to learn more before booking, then the info is there, those that aren't fussed, I guess ignore it anyway like you say.

Lewis made a good point though, and it's something I wish more clients would do, texter clients - If their initial point of contact is a text (knowing that I'll need to speak to them at some point), then to think to stipulate if it is/isn't okay to text back, thus eradicating any grey area of not knowing how long is too long to reply/not reply, that way they get a reply and hopefully I don't come across as ignorant. I may actually add that (to an already extensive profile  ) so cheers.
