I'm struggling to understand your txt spk.
You can't have it both ways. Either a tenner is insignificant, so there's no problem if the punter goes to get it after the punt (at risk to the prossie of losing the tenner), or it is a significant amount, in which case the op is right to be pissed off about it.
What are your thoughts on the fact that this prossie agreed for him to go get the change and then refused to honour her side of the deal, thus stealing £10? Are you going to defend that too?
Not aimed at me but personally, in this scenario I'd just not care about the tenner. OK, so I'd been ripped off. I've lost worse than a tenner in my life, though. Agree, it's not great but I just don't care that much. Whatever...
As for the pro$$ie stealing from him, I know I shouldn't be but I'm pretty ambivalent. He acted like an arse in my opinion so while she should have lived up to her side of the deal, I find it hard to muster a great deal of sympathy for him because she didn't. Am I defending her? No, not really. I just don't really care. Two skanks rip each other off...what goes around, comes around. I've got more interesting things to worry about.
This is really a story about low life. And we all know that on both sides of the fence, there's a low life side of punting. It's not news that when two skanks run into each other, bad things happen. As someone else said, amazing this miserable tale has now run to four pages.
