Comms: Her profile said she was available today starting from 4pm so I called her up (at around 1) but it went straight to voicemail so I sent her a text asking to meet at 4. Over an hour later she replies saying that's fine and gives me her postcode. Over an hour later (3:22) she asks to move it back and says she'll be ready at 4:30. She also says she's just arrived and that she's having a shower and getting ready. I reply agreeing to meet at 4:30.

I arrive a few mins early and so I call, it rings but she doesn't pick up. I send her a text and a couple mins later she replies that she's just drying her hair. Then just before 4:30 she rings me and assures me that she's nearly ready and she'll just be a "couple of minutes". After a while I text her that I can't wait forever and at 4:40 I call her but her phone is now switched off (goes straight to voicemail).

After being messed about, made to wait, and her phone now being off I decided that this didn't bode well or reflect well on her likely service. Given that she has 3 neutrals on here, I decided I've wasted enough time on her and so I left. At 4:42 she finally replies that she's ready (no apology for the wait). I couldn't be bothered to turn around so I tell her that it was ridiculous and I've already left. She replies that she took so long because she was "making herself look good" but considering she said that she was having a shower well over an hour ago, that's clearly bollocks. She probably just squeezed in another punter before me.

I did have a plan B  though and that went fine.

Overall: Piss poor comms, disorganised and basically a waste of time (even though I could have been a bit more patient with her).

I think you were patient enough and its a justified negative IMO, nothing worse than delaying tactics from a WG.

Yes, it was combination of her profile being "available today" and her currently being a redhead (I'm usually a big fan of that). I had a look at her reviews and while even her positive isn't very glowing at all, none of them are particularly damning either. They all just point to mediocrity but you're right, spending time and money on what's likely to be mediocrity isn't particularly wise.

Also forgot to say, she didn't sound very "switched on" or happy/enthusiastic when she called me (so it didn't fill me with confidence about having a good punt). Perhaps it was because she was rushing/busy but I didn't get a great vibe although it wasn't a particularly bad one either.

NF - for yourself, obviously a regular punter - do you change your punting sim on a regular basis? I know when I was punting a lot more often my number was passed round by WG as someone who reviewed etc.

Food for thought if not already doing so, play the grey man a bit more, especially if you think WG have put two and two together

Not as regularly as I probably should but one of the reasons I posted this so soon (and particularly in such specific detail) was indeed the fact that I'll be changing my punting number very soon.

I'm unsure if my current number (and that I'm NigelF) has been passed around but some WGs will almost certainly know that I'm NigelF. Out of curiosity what was your previous experience when a lot of other WGs knew your number?

As I said, I can't be sure how many know but in my experience it doesn't seem to affect my ability to book (it's usually rather easy) or seemingly the level of service I receive (e.g. compared to other reviews on here). Indeed, if they did know I was reviewer it could said that many of them performed poorly (if they were hoping to get a good review). 

Regardless, changing your SIM fairly often is definitely the right move. I do slightly worry about the "signal" it sends to "regulars" though and if they know who you are on here, they could "rat you out" fairly quickly rendering the number change rather pointless. I Possibly should keep the old number for regs and a new one for newbies but that does seem like a lot of faff.

Never found out who she got the number off but the sim got binned the next day, having a less than fluffy outlook combined with speaking my mind could result in it being difficult to book who I want.

That and the fact sims are like a quid means I change mine every so often, I don’t have any regulars so no messing about - The only punting sim I always keep active is the number I use when booking through the agency I use, makes sense for them to know who I am as quite a few times they have warned me off booking X and said Y would be better suited to my tastes.

That's never actually happened to me. The closest has been being refused on AW for being a UKP member but I'm not too surprised she was able to work it out (although she may have been told/looked me up on some sort of "hidden list" somewhere although I do think that's fairly unlikely). I do have a back-up AW profile that's definitely unlinked but I've never actually bothered to use it to circumvent anyone (because I take disliking UKP to mean they dislike providing a good service).

This one was on my HL about 5 years ago but I binned her off, think it may have been her other reviews and the mention of being a bit smelly down below but poor comms are a bit of a recurring theme with this one.
I do recall paying for her PG about 4 years ago and there were a couple of face pics but I recall thinking the face didn't match the expectation of the cracking body, bit of a BOBFOC

Must say, changing my sim is not something I've thought about doing......I've only ever had three WG call me out for being a member on here...one banned me, one used to laugh about it and say " whooo Frank, you've been a naughty boy, I see you've seen so and so" ..... and the others service levels suddenly went through the roof.  Maybe food for thought Lewis...

Yes. I'd already seen her before (a couple of times actually) and was wanting to see her again at some point fairly soon anyway. Moreover, she was on my journey/route home so it was rather convenient. I did of course though get lucky that she was available when I wanted and at such short notice. My plan C was a parlour (again on my route home). It was obviously a bit less exciting than seeing someone new but it was still a good punt.

Edit: I've just tried sending you a PM but unfortunately you can't seem to receive them. As I've said, I've reviewed her before and the punt was pretty much as per my review.
