Author Topic: Student escort ordered to pay £175,000 in tax  (Read 5353 times)

What I sometimes wonder about is the opportunity for them to cheat by submitting a tax return for some, but not all, of their appointments?
Just what I was thinking. What's to stop a WG who does pay tax from even submitting it fully?

I can't even fathom what £100k in cash looks like... I really do wonder sometimes why all women don't just become prossies. There's a girl who works at my local service station; cute girl, early 20's, friendly, but works there every day all day seemingly, and just seems utterly miserable. If only someone were to tell her the easy money she could make on AW...

Not all girls can suck strangers cocks for a living.    :hi:

Definitely not, but that doesn't stop them from being WGs!

Yes, a friend of mine earns money from bits and bobs, often in cash, and he declares 1K pa of it, that way if the IR try to pin a particular job on him he can just say it comes out of the pool.

I expect EE girls are "off the radar", no NI etc - otherwise you need to be accountable for what you're doing over a given period.  Mind you I always ignored their letters and it never went any further!

Why did I LOL?

That's what I love about this forum, the excellent advice we receive.

So our members know what to do in future when they get tax related letters ------- just ignore them.

If a pro$$ie banked £1000 a week she would need to declare an income of at least £65K a year, that would mean a huge tax bill.   :hi:

Big, but not as big as the one this girl has just landed...

Yes but this girl was totally brain dead, you don't hand over £110K in cash for a deposit on a property.

Yes but this girl was totally brain dead, you

How can that be possible, she was studying for a masters degree  :sarcastic:

If you have decent money coming in get an accountant. She'd have saved loads becoming limited and beyond that there are other things.

If it's through an agency she probably couldn't. Independent she could probably have fiddled a few and nobody would have known.

30yo student - she probably got kept back a year or 15.

Hang on, do you seriously think that an "Agency" would list all jobs and submit any / accurate figures to HMRC

If smart there are still ways to launder cash but in smaller amounts over time. Some EE WGs use Western Union or similar to get their cash out of the country.

Buying many things with lots of cash raises suspicion which suits the authorities of course.

Would most Agencies knowing they are controlling prostitutes for gain (if they know they are unlike Stacey of Amour on here) and thus committing a crime choose to take the risk of paying any tax thus admitting they run a business where they are breaking the law, same of course goes for any brothel. Highly unlikely in my view. It will be a case of make as much as they can and hide it as best they can in my view for many.

Lack of brain power has to be borne in mind here as well, some pimps are thick which is why they are pimps, they cant do anything else that pays them the same kind of money. I doubt paying tax crosses the minds of such dummies. :hi:

There is a limit to how much an accountant can save you above legitimate expenses -------------- most pro$$ies have limited expenses unless they rent separate premises just to work from, if they work from their home they can't claim the entire cost of the rent.

If a pro$$ie became a limited company then she can pay herself a minimum wage - up to her personal allowance only if she wants. Then she takes the rest of her payments as Dividends. The company pays corporation tax on the profits but she would not have to pay tax, NI or employers NI on the dividend payment. That's a big saving.  On £100,000 a year income that saves big money!

They don't need to as the benefits would take care of it  :hi:

In many cases that is true, one girl told me she was looking to move but could only pay £700 a month because that was the maximum she could claim for --------------- not something you ever read about on Saafe.

You can pretty much get up to the top rate of tax without problems, so around £40,000. Above that you need to get slightly clever - you just defer the earnings then when you have a tidy lump sum take a 6 month holiday to Panama and pay it all out tax free or top up your earnings when you quit escorting, or pension fund. Not 100% sure on the Panama bit but basically she could have saved over half her tax bill legitimately.

She's also lucky not to get nailed for VAT.
