We could maybe have a "Golden rules" section for teaching newer, more naive punters how to spot the dodgy ones.

Now where was I??
Ohh yes, good points YOU make about the 'Golden Rule' rpg, it's sad not everyone agrees!!!!

Posting your usual BS is where you are.

Ironically when I saw Amy last night she told me it was difficult for prossies to find places to advertise these days other than AW and for some strange reason they rejected her. Apparently they reckon her verification photo didn't resemble her prossy pics.
Wonder how thousands of others are allowed through?
She asked where I found my women these days and I must admit I couldn't really answer.
She asked why I didn't start an escort advertising site.

Would you consider it?  :)

Apart from anything else I don't have the technical capability. I told her this. She suggested I leave that to someone else and just deal with the girls.
I replied I'm good at dealing with girls!  :D

Yes, having the technical ability is a good start.
I know nothing about where to start either and reading some of the posts it would appear there are a few obstacles to overcome if anyone attempted it.
I feel there are many here who would support something to rival Adultwork if only the correct formula could be found and someone was prepared to give it a go  :hi:

What about bringing someone on board with you who did have the technical capability, but maybe lacked the knowledge of punting to do a good job of it? Just hire a couple of good graduates to get it started, then bring in an expert once it gets going to tidy up the more difficult bits like security.

Personally the only info I want from AW is name, location, rates, telephone number, likes, rating and pictures. All the rest is just fluff. The core service that AW provides is very simple to replicate, it's just a web database application. There are plenty of sites on the web already that just scrape AW profiles and present them as their own.

The point is you could go live with something very simple and build on that.

You'd certainly need the services of a web developer and a web designer. The admin and billing part is probably going to cause you more of a headache. Eventually you'd need full time staff to deal with that.

It's something that isn't feasible if you have a full time regular job. Most of these people make their living through such ventures.
