Aww my first day was a mixture of both actually. At the tender young age of 18 I decided to get into this business. I was at college doing A levels and working in a social club as a barmaid earning pittance.. Curiosity got the better of me and I was scouted on a site called Faceparty.. From me deciding to go into it to actually starting was a very small timeframe, about 8 days all in all. My first day I was nervous as hell, didn't know what to expect, didn't know what the working conditions were like, didn't know what to include in my "kit" and I didn't get much advice or help from the owners. I got picked up by a driver and drove to a rundown, grotty place called seaham "sorry if anyone lives there and I've offended anyone" the place was above a shop on the high street with a back entrance and the phone reception was abysmal.. Anyway cut the long story short, the working conditions were ok, very minimal and I was left to my own devices and to "set up" half hour before my first appt was due.. Nervousness and OCD kicked in and I cleaned the place best I could and showered for the third time that morning. Knock at the door and a average looking Chinese guy walked in. He was very nice, knew he was my first client ever and booked for an hour and a half. Really sweet and didn't rush... After that let's just say I was thrown in at the deep end and fully booked for the rest of the day.. Every girl will tell you that they knew whether they could have the mental capacity to do this job by the end of her first full day... And for obvious reasons, it's why I'm still about after all these years..
