A) As always ... glad it turned out to be a good punt for you, especially if it was a TOFTT one.
B) Gladder still that you aren't put off writing reviews completely because of the Sofia thread.

Ever heard of difference of opinions? You nay think she is overrated,  I dont.  whether I have an attachment or not is none of your business... And hint-hint, I dont since I havent even been back to see her and I go fuck other girls all the time. Just liked her attitude towards the job. Good for you if she isnt in top 30,  I guess you have been quite lucky,  but she is def in my top 3 in my short "career".

Probably because she won't let you

Pretty sure it's not and I will as I please thank you.

Happy to put the record straight here. I looked at the meta data in a photo she sent me and the date on the photo suggested she could be mid 30s. But in reality the camera's date had been set wrong and she is about 25 I'd say.

Really? Where in the camera metadata does it suggest the subject's age?

The maths is quite difficult. Subject looks mid 20s, picture's meta data shows date picture taken is 10 years ago.

But I suspect you knew that - just trying to score a cheap point over my shorthand English?

Bit defensive. I, for one, don't know what the picture's meta data is or how to find it. How do you do that? Could be useful information for us all.

Thanks.

Ah - it's embedded text data saved inside a jpg which can include when a picture was taken, the camera model, the aperture setting, shutter speed, even down to its location if the camera has a GPS receiver.

I can't direct you on how to see this data on Windows since I use Linux which will be different, but I would image there will be a facility in your image viewer to view 'properties' or some such which will list all the meta data that was captured when the picture was taken.

It can be very useful - but not for images saved from AW since they strip all the meta data out of uploaded pictures. But if a girl sends you some face pictures for example, then it's always good to have a sneaky look at the meta data just in case there's something interesting there - like the date the photo was taken. If it's years ago, then you have some warning things may not be all they seem with the girl in question.

Interesting. Thanks for that  :drinks:

Daff, it's more commonly known as EXIF Data (Exchangeable image file format). In windows you can click on the photo's properties and it will give you a fairly crude form of exif data. There are a number of exif data viewers and extensions available if you want more in depth exif data.

As Doctor pointed out many third party sites like AW remove exif data so it can't be viewed.

It's worth pointing out if you have a smart phone or a gps enabled camera and location services is switched on, the gps coordinates are recorded in the exif. Thus giving away the location that particular image was captured.

Scary sometimes what data can be gathered that you don't even know about. Thanks for the further info

I knew I should have paid attention in the algebra class  ;)

Actually I wasn't trying to score points, I really was perplexed as to how you were determining her age from the data!  :hi:

Ah ok - apologies for being trigger happy.  :hi:

The whole thing comes undone if (as was the case with Eva) the camera's internal clock has been set incorrectly. Then wrong assumptions are made
